Not really sure what you're getting at here... One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |

Just throwing this in here. I asked one of our new guys how much money he had made (we live in lowsec). He said he had 2 billion. I asked how he gained so much ISK as a new player in just two months. His answer? By picking up the trash you guys leave behind. Looking at the SP one can gain in two months and the ships one can fly by that time, I'd say his ISK making capacities exeed his ship-flying ones, which is an excellent position to start from. |

If you want to make money, don't go to populated places and expect them to leave you be. If you want to make Isk in Nullsec, go to Tribute, or Vale of the Silent. This space is literally empty 23/7. You might see the odd group rip through, or the odd dude running sites but for the most part its pretty safe...just need to be smart.
From Jan - March of this year I made ~13B farming complexes in Tribute and Vale in my Macherial. I kept an active Dscan and never lost a ship. Of course I had previously gone in and made a pile of deep safes in these regions as well so there is some pre planning you need to do.
However the money is in Mordus BPC. Which you can get to pretty easily in the equally less populated regions of Lowsec. Steer clear of main pipes and you can pretty much farm forever and ever alone in the quiet. I use my Stratios for that because it lets me do some exploration and hunt for Mordus ships. No deep safes needed either, since you can dock up if anything scary comes through.
You just need to lose the risk averse attitude. Yes you might lose a ship, yes you might run into a gate camp and die, but if you take 5 minutes and look at the statistics maps you can see where there is lots of activity, and just go the other way. |

If it was impossible to make ISK without buying PLEX, there would be no ISK to exchange for those PLEXes. The PLEX prices right now ar just a bubble anyway GÇö the same ISK bouncing back and forth between speculators. Your other point is also wrong: wasting more money on PLEX doesn't mean you win. It only means you lose more real-life cash on a futile hope that you'll be able to compensate a lack of skill with more shinies. Fortunately, the game doesn't work that way.
It is true that if it was impossible to make ISK then it would be impossible to buy PLEX with ISK. But equally so if some people didn't buy PLEX with RL cash and put the PLEX on the market or in contracts then you wouldn't be able to buy PLEX with ISK. |

Op you have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many 'talking points' in your post to ever get heard.
BLOBS
1) Politics has created a very dull sov map. 1a) There are effectively 4 massive entities 1b) They can't fight each other (even if they wanted to) 1c) Some agreement 4 people signed holds their members (what is that? way over 80,000 players) hostage to an uneasy peaceful existence 1d) CCPs dream of 1000s of players shooting each other can only ever happen 1 time in every 365 days rather than 365 times a year
We ALL get point 1. Those in the massive entities get it as well and apply it. Only CCP can solve that one by spoiling the milk. Its probably comforting for them to not have any meaningful PVP to worry about. CCP however should find it hard to sleep at night. This is not 'hard core' gaming. Oh well. At least the IRC still has nice shiny ships to look at.
ISK 2) You want to make lots of ISK 2a) and apparently you want to make 700mill at the push of a button rather than grinding for it 2b) plex are a very nice way to move ISK from those that grind 2c) Mining rocks, shoot an NPC, run a moon tower or build ships, you are grinding) to those of us with little time for that sort of activity. 2d) No one started EVE with piles of ISK. It was accumulated by 'effort' by the 99% of us. Sure less than 1% got 'helped' :D
First off Point 2 is not affected by Point 1. All the 'evidence' to corollary a connection would be coincidental at best. There are combat ships which use cloaking devices that can happily exist outside of the 4 'friends' that have their stamp on null. if you have the skills and balls to risk some ISK, you can make a ton of it.
Think outside the box a bit (hint, use wormholes to enter and leave, stop trying to crash lame-o 2007 gate camps).
Or, you know, just 'join em'.
To conclude: EVE mechanics are being played perfectly. If those mechanics displease you, until CCP change them, you need to HTFU.
Brrrr, Grrr, Nrrrr ,Srrrr - this is the song of the Null People. They are at the door. Will you answer please, I'm AFK!

it is impossible to make isk without buying PLEX <-- I'm a younger player than you and make a couple billion/month with less than an hour/day effort
PvP in this game has nothing to do with what you have or how good you are with it <-- have a look at any lowsec alliance/corp killboard
Skill doesnt matter <-- same as above
People will only fight you if its 4 of them against you <-- same as above, click on 'solo' on zkillboard
Balenced ships are pointless if you cant get a balenced numbers fight <-- same as above
I think Faction Warfare would suit your in-game goals, as I perceive them. Your employment history shows 10 days in a Caldari FW Corp. If that didn't work out, try another one.
Look at his posting history , the only post he made before this was a thread he started when he WAS in fw wich was something along the lines of '' OMG it's SO unfair that neuts/pies can enter my fw sites and pewpew me , CCP change this ASAP'' .
Speaking for myself i however completely agree with aall your points Gully .You will get blobbed in FW from time to time too BUT there are solo fights to be found there.

However , there ARE people there looking for solo fights , mostly in fw space , who WILL try and get those even fights and at times fight even if they know the outcome probably will mean their ship's death.Offcourse this also means running into the blops/linkalts/etc a lot of times but hey that's part of the game.
Odd as it may sound to a lot , for some people the challenge still is more fun then the k/d ratio .
