Switch to T2 Barrage L to hit him, also a damage control in the low helps a lot for tank. Milenor wrote: Btw, too much capa drain and not enough cargo space to stock enough XL charge for the dark blood cap.
Cap skills help a lot. but try putting a flux coil in the low? Perhaps you should try having a close to cap stable ship and go from there? Can you fly a Machariel?
I've already a damage control. But no power diags.
Can't having enough dps and being cap stable, at least, they drain capa sso..
Yes, i can fly a machariel. |

The change I'd make if using Krono's would be to warp at range from the spatial rift (garrison) so you can use that to warp to 40km on the last wave to be on top of the BS's. To be honest C5 Krono's was really slow for me in testing. It struggles to hit anything at range, also doesn't respond well under a lot of neuts, but I didn't die on SiSi in testing so there's that. Let us know how you get on.
With the Kronos it gets interesting, still getting used to switching out the fits for the different parts of the waves, but the lack of optimum often leads me to chasing down the battleships..... partly due to not messing around with warp ins to much. still testing. |

C4 W-R in Enyos + Guardians
Two nights ago we were connected to a C4 W-R. We dropped 5 Enyos, 1 Vengeance and 2 Guardians into the sites. We clocked 3 sites in 35 minutes, total haul 270M ISK.
I FRAPsed it (btw what do you all use to render FRAPS vids? I am noob at this), because I'm sure you all doubt it.
Our learning outcomes from a dry run?
1) ALWAYS MOVE. You have a 23m sig in a C4 W-R with your Enyo. it only helps vs the sleeper missiles if you are moving.
2) Guards need to position themselves to anticipate the movement of the frigs. This depends on the site, but you have to move toward the sleeper wave, and then move into a position between the current wave and the next wave. This is important as waves can be 150km apart.
3) MWD fits are essential. You lack damage projection but can cook along at 2,200m/s in the Enyo.
4) You can alpha cruisers off the field with 4+ Enyos. RR is no problem.
5) Webs.
6) Enyo fit

Yep. No plate, and you will survive. Remember, you get double the buffer!
7) Guardian fit

Damage Control II 800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Corpii A-Type Thermic Plating Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane Reactor Control Unit II

Medium Trimark Armor Pump II Medium Trimark Armor Pump II
Pulsed use of MWD necessary to keep up with your Enyos. 269m sig = virtually no damage taken anyway.
Enyos are king, but Vengeances are OK if you are really struggling to believe a tankless AF can survive C4s.

Posting to confirm that scorch paladin owns in C4s. Vargur with arties and autos also works but arties will miss from time to time and switching guns means taking eyes off d-scan. With that said, a carrier is much better since you can apply damage effectively with target paint aided fighters while pre-aligned. |

Better with tengu or with golem? sorry for my bad english and thank u! I'd only use the chimera tbh. Leave your tengu on your static cloaked so you can hear when someone jumps in. Put a smartbomb or two on the chimera for the frigs and add two target painters so you can hit cruisers properly. You don't need to be cap stable to run C4 sites in a carrier especially a chimera. Use only one cap shield remote rep for fighters. Recall whichever fighter is taking damage and send it back when aggro switches. Fill the low slots with drone damage amplifiers. Thank me. |

I have made up my mind a bit and used the C3 Legion as a basis and what I came out with is the following fitting. I used as well my Zealot for C1 and would assume it works quite well without any faction the following way and I do hope to maybe find some recommendations for improvements without adding any shiny items:
[Legion - C2] Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch M
Cap Recharger II 10MN Afterburner II Tracking Computer, Tracking Speed Script Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I
Medium Armor Repairer II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Heat Sink II Heat Sink II Heat Sink II Tracking Enhancer II
Medium Energy Collision Accelerator II Medium Anti-Thermic Pump I empty
Subsystems Defensive - Nanobot injector Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Offensive - Liquid crystal magnifier Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir
223 sustained dps tank (enough!) Conflag M w/ Tracking Speed Script: 742dps with 12,4+6 and 0,1 tracking - 29% Cap Stable all running Scorch M w/ Tracking Speed Script: 530dps with 37,1+6 and 0,107 tracking - 40% Cap Stable all running Scorch M w/ Optimal Range Script: 530dps with 42,2+7,6 and 0,083 tracking - 40% Cap Stable all running Imperial Navy MF w/ TRacking Speed Script: 665 with 12,4+6 and 0,143 tracking - 40% Cap Stable all running 8,45sec. Align Time
Due to an empty Rig and the align time I am aiming a medium friction nozzle joints I rig at the moment.
What do you think? |

I would much rather use a Zealot than a legion for C1s/C2s. Almost half the price, more insurable, and 80% of the DPS.

I am using a Zealot for C1 already, but with a different Fit, which has more dps, range and tracking, but less tank (sufficient for C1 though).
For C2 your Zealot would work (decent Fit!), but I guess my current ship is much better already at that and current Legion Fitting I have started now with has more dps and range +8km Optimal for Scorch, which is a lot in C2 due to spawning ships 70km+ away from warpin!
Have you flown that ship in C2s by yourself? What are your completion times for P. Checkpoint? |

1st wave: Blasters with CNAM, web, dual TCs with tracking script, smartbomb. Warp to site at 100km, warp to structure in middle. Drop MTU, blap webbed Defender frigs with blasters, switch to range scripts and Null, engage smartbomb while you blap the Argoses. Preserver frigs whelp themselves into the smartbomb (TCU has tons of EHP and doesn't die to your smarty, depot will go RF)
2nd wave: Kill everything with blasters and Gecko, start from whatever frigs you can blap at range, then the cruisers but leave one for last, smartbomb remaining frigs and drop MD after you're done with smartbombing.
3rd wave: Switch to rails and CNAM, one range and one tracking script. Start with Preserver cruisers (RR) while you Gecko one Awakened cruiser (make sure the retards start repping the Awakened, sometimes need to switch targets to control the RR) After preservers grind down the 3 BS with 2x range script, then Javelin for the leftover cruisers.
Bastion whenever required/feel like it
I use links so I can cheapskate the tank, they aren't really necessary but why not. I've used 2 magstabs and RAH when not using links, then swap to 3 magstabs when the incoming dps is lower. Better smartbomb might help but :effort: of remembering to buy one. You could also fit two smarties, but one kills frigs nicely in the time it takes to blap the Argoses. Neut and NOS are for "defense", they need implants to online.
Pretty happy with the completion time now, but I'm not a PVE/marauder expert so if you have any tips and tricks how to improve it I'm all ears. Other marauders could be better or worse, idk.

Whats wrong with this C3 Legion fit? I took it to a C2 to get a feel for it and the tank was more than enough of course but it seemed to take a while to kill the battleships.
Can I drop a tank mod somewhere and add DPS for C3's or is this about the best I can do?

Hello, I currently training several characters on multiple accounts to run c3/c4 and if possible c5's. One of the characters will be a siege/skirmish/armor booster. I'm training 3 more for either the nightmare/paladin or RR Dominix . I'm having trouble deciding which route to train for atm as I'm finishing up on my shield/armor, core and navigation skills from the intelligent/memory remap. Can someone please give me some good advice on which of the following setups are the most effective running c3/c4's and also which ones are the most cost effective risk wise?
3x RR Armor or Shield Dominix
2x Paladins (tachyons) with 2 or 3 remote cap transfers in high slot
2x Nightmares (pulse) with 2 remote cap transfers in high slot and a Basilisk
I thought about the tengus but I don't like the skill loss after death and since I'm new to wormholes I do aspect to be killed ALOT! So longs as my gains outway my loss I'm fine with it. Much help is really appreciated. Oh and I'll also have a noctis and 3 scanning characters as well (cloaked of course) :) |

1. C3 sites are a lot easier than C4 sites. 2. Paladins use a bastion module that gives them extra repairing and resistance bonus for 60 seconds per cycle, while in bastion mode they can not move, jump gates, warp, or receive remote assistance. 3. Tachyons won't track the frigates and cruisers. Fit pulses + imperial navy multifreq and faction smartbombs for the frigates. 4. I don't know if nightmares + 1 logi would work, what happens when the sleepers switch to your 1 logi ship?
In my opinion if you followed a paladin fit for C5 you can solo C3's and C4's (max maurader V skill need for dps to break RR). Then multiply paladins to run the sites faster. You don't have to do paladins you could use golems or others, you would need to try some on sisi to get a feel for what works best - and don't have to loose a lot of ISK testing.
Lets us know how you get on.
