As this is the new "Little Things Post"
Can we see ships like Freighters, and their related skills tweaks.
Advanced Spaceship Command I - says it opens up the option to drive Freighters. BUT everyone knows I need lvl V to get the racial freighter skill.
Capital Ships 1 - List all the Dreads and Carriers, but you can't get the racial books to use those ships tell lvl 3 and 4 of the skill.
Please have someone run through the ship requirements again, and make tweaks to all the ships in game. As it stands, the skills listed for the ships seems to be very redundant!
+++ I'm still waiting for Gas Harvesting Mastery to be removed from Mining Barges and Exhumers (Still can't fit any gas miners) xoxo Amarisen Gream

The tooltip for when you hover over multiple celestials overlaid on top of one another could stay around for longer [forever is my preference until you click in space or whatever]. Currently it doesn't stay around long enough when you are close to your ship and moving fast for example. |

The first one is related to the freighter changes. To pilot a freighter, you used to only need ASC 1. That's one of the requirements to sit in a freighter.
The skill also needs ASC at 5, but that's not important for sitting in the freighter, as long as you have the freighter skill at any level. Which a bunch of people do, without ASC 5, as they skilled up, before the change. Woo! CSM 9! http://fuzzwork.enterprises/ Twitter: @fuzzysteve on Twitter |

I don't know why anything should be changed. I think the rigs should stay as they are. In fact, i think all should stay as is. Why should we want to allow mass fitting to unskilled players? Let them work on it like the rest of us. If he can't fly it, why should he be able to fit it? If the player does not know how to use the guns, why would he know how to fit the gun to the ship? So he can prepare the ship for someone else? Screw that, let him train for it! |

One thing that would really, really help PvP roamers for very little effort (I would hope) would be colour coding systems based on their security status in the Map.
I know there's an option to do that right now, but enabling that filter means we can't use other filters such as " number of pilots active in space in the last 30 minutes" which are crucial for low sec roaming. Often times you find yourself looking for blobs on the map (literally!) and then realise that the promising group of blobs over there is actually a high sec mission / mining hub!
So since the data is already available, any chance of that sec status "filter" being already put onto all the systems (blue -> red depending on sec status) which you can then overlay additional filters such as "number of pilots active in space in the last 30 minutes"? |

Maybe it's more coding/work than it's worth. But why not leave rig skills as they are, and make them offlineable. If you have a T2 rig fitted and your skill less than 4, the rig is off-lines just like normal mods.
It's win/win for fitting and for those who trained the skills. |

Not really, if you allow anyone to fit as they are proposing, making them offline able means we don't need changes to the penalties. If you read SoniClovers post, they are looking at adding penalties to rigs that have none now AND increasing the penalties of others. Just to keep the skill relevant since anyone could use and fit.
So offline rigs that don't meet skills vs. receive large penalties and have fit breaking penalties added to all rigs that never had penalties before.
I fail to see how allowing the new feature of "anyone can fit" but still require the skills to use, the way it's kind of intended now, is a step backward.
Lets be honest, asking your friend to fit it because they weren't first coded to offline is probably an unintended loop hole. You can't tell me CCP Devs really sat around and decide to intentionally allow your friends to fit your rigs instead of adding an offline or no undock feature was planned and intended, just to add some super minor interactions most players don't use. |

It just sucks currently with how you see the BOps coming on D-scan with how they are supposed to be super-advanced stealth ships. |
