Anyone who's been following the meta in nullsec lately knows that every large scale engagement is turning into "Can I alpha their ships before they start getting remote reps?". This leads to both sides bringing larger and larger fleets to outperform the other side's logistics because there is no other real counter. If they can't, they simply don't engage.
I'd like to propose a counter. It's relatively simple, and it would use existing hulls and modules to deploy.
The Logistics Interdiction Probe.
It would work just like a Warp Disrupt Probe launched from an Interdictor, but instead of warp scrambling all ships inside, it would reduce the effectiveness of their remote reps.
Here's the catch: Carriers in Triage mode would be immune to the effects.
This would force carrier pilots to choose: do I go with a considerably weakened spider tank to keep up my own DPS, or do I go into Triage Mode and sacrifice my own DPS to keep my reps running at full power?
I think this would be a very simple, straightforward counter to the current N+1 nullsec meta.
Thoughts? Reading Comprehension: a skill so important it deserves it's own skillbook.

As a blobber I approve, this means that any advantages in numbers are even more greatly amplified.
Especially in carrier blob vs subcap situations. ^^ Delicious goon ((tech nerf, siphon, drone assist, supercap)) tears.
Taking a wrecking ball to the futile hopes and broken dreams of skillless blobbers. |

1. You launch them from a 'Dictor just like you would launch a Warp Disrupt Probe. This means they would have zero impact in Empire space. 2. 'Dictors are paper-thin, and if you happen to bubble your own remote reppers they lose their own capabilities.

Especially in carrier blob vs subcap situations. If Fleet A is mainly composed of combat ships and Fleet B is mainly spider-tanking, they would give an advantage to Fleet A regardless of numbers. They would decrease the need for Fleet A to alpha one of Fleet B's ships in order to get it off the field, but if Fleet B is using Triaged carriers or mainly combat ships, they wouldn't help at all.
They would give incentives for people to fly mixed fleets of triaged carriers and combat ships as opposed to the current Slowcat tactics (massive spider-tanked Archon fleets using assisted Sentries for huge perfect volley damage) becoming more common now.
