Cardinal, normally you are a trustworthy if misguided man, but you expect me to believe capsuleers could go two or three months without some kind of drama? I know I didn't cause all of it. |

While you were away, Sanmatar Shakor said "I say, it is rather quiet around here lately, perhaps this war malarkey with the Amarr wasn't such a great idea after all. I miss hearing about the antics of famous militia pilots such as Dame Death".
Now that you're back, I'm quite sure Sanmatar Shakor will call for renewed violence and war.
Also, Graelyn and I got married, and Synthia replaced Jamyl as Empress of Amarr.
It was a heck of a couple days, let me tell you. |

Gods... you sure do miss a lot when you live in a wormhole. I don't recall any of that. I obviously need to keep in touch with the K-Space newsfeeds more often!

Indeed. The Nauplius Show has long since gone stale and should be cancelled. When the world is running down, you make the best of what's still around. |

I'm going to point out the health risks of drinking blood. "You let one of them go, but that's nothing new is it? Every now and then a little victim is allowed to escape; because she smiled, because he's got freckles, because they begged. And that's how you live with yourself. That's how you slaughter millions." There are some if you don't know whose blood. People can live off of it though; it's got all the nutrients your body needs, assuming the person is moderately healthy. The Sani Sabik drink the stuff like its Soylent Green....well really I guess it is Soylent Green.

The primary health hazard of blood is the enormous amounts of Vitoc with which I stuff most of my slaves. Fortunately, I have developed a solution. From their arrival, certain Minmatar subhumans I keep apart, not stuffed with Vitoc, but triple-chained, triple-collared, and confined to a 3-meter square sterile habi-cube but for occasional exercise (under strict supervision of overseer drones and slaver hounds). Thus are these Sacrificial Slaves prepared for that glorious day that they are strapped to the Altar of God, and with one swift execution of the splatter cut, their blood made to fly, baptizing those present in God and opening a wound for the feeding of the Chosen. The most fortunate of these Sacrificial Slaves finally comprehend the purpose of their existence in that moment after the execution of the splatter cut and before the sefrim carry their souls down to Hell.
Of course, by tightly controlling these Sacrificial Slaves' diet and exercise patterns, I can influence the taste, texture, and nutritional quality of their blood; with each sacrifice, I continue to improve them. |

Well ONE of them needs to be shot. Not sure it's the supplier. "You let one of them go, but that's nothing new is it? Shooting him means a minor clone cost. Shooting the supplier just might improve the market for the end-users. Suppliers too for that matter. You're starting to lose touch with your heritage, Tuulinen. You need to get your behind back into the State before you start throwing away money to dancing liberals and endorsing terrible trade deals.
Soon it'll be all robes and stuff.
Oh, and maybe there'll be less blood of you shoot the supplier, but that's an ancillary benefit at best. Prime Node. Ask me about augmentation.

Well... Mister Nauplius is a very special individual who likes to be very vengeful, drink blood, and all around very mean to people like me. Some say it's because he is a Blood Raider, but I've met nicer people that just so happen to eat other people, so that probably ain't it. He's just mean.
With that out of the way, I can answer Miss Death's question, or at least I would if I hadn't been living under a rock. Other than something about some Ishukone thing and the situation over at Caldari Prime, I have absolutely no idea of the geopolitical climate of the four empires prior to my graduation from Pator Tech.
Oh, Mordu's Legion was hiring! Then they stopped hiring and started shooting trespassers. And something about a PLEX bounty for Caldari bad guys. And the Moa stopped being a chicken and became a real bird ship! |

So as you can see, Ms. Mariska, this lot of insignificant, mewling, and (worst of all perhaps) completely boring pilots and their manufactured episodes is the complete totality of anything you may have missed in your time doing what must have inherently been much more important. It's all the sort of thing you've seen a hundred times, and I a thousand.

Oh! Something did happen! The Cardinal got all old and cranky, then in some sort of age crisis went on a gambling binge with a whole bunch of undesirables, then hosted a lovely party full of heresy, hedonism (yes, I saw that battleship and that counts) and grr.
The Cardinal was even so elevated and venerable about it all that he didn't even show up to the party.
At least that wasn't boring, even if the rest of New Eden mostly seem to be a yawnfest lately. Prime Node. Ask me about augmentation.
