I and a couple of family members are trying to broaden our EVE Horizons. We are trying to figure out contracts. For practice (and for learning) I set up a small in-corporation contract. Everything appears to have gone well with setting up the contract but now no one can find the contract for the purpose of excepting it. I can't even find it for the purpose of checking to see that it was done correctly.
How do you go about locating an in- corporation contract for the purpose of accepting and carrying it out (or for possible amending)? |

In the Contracts window, go to the Available Contracts tab. Here you can specify all kinds of search criteria to find open contracts. Set Location to "All Regions" and Availability to "My Corporation". Select either Buy & Sell or Courier depending on the type of contract you're testing. Then his Search.
This approach is primarily used to find contracts that others have created. To find your own contracts back go to the My Contracts tab. Select the right status (in your case: Outstanding, for contracts that haven't been accepted yet) and click Get Contracts. |

Eve Menu -> Business -> Contracts. On the first screen you'll see any contracts made out to you or your corp. |

Thank you both. We finally found it and were able to complete it.
There was a moment of confusion when trying to locate the goods after accepting the contract. We finally realized they where under Market Orders in the inventory.
Thanks again.

One important thing with in-corp contracts. Remember, your corp probably has at least one person in it that is significantly more devoted to their own interests than to those of the corporation. So never set contracts up that allow them to steal much from you. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=346564 - a proposal to overhaul the Logistics skill https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. www.minerbumping.com - ganking miners and causing chaos |

Thank you for the advice. That is something important to keep in mind.
That being said, I know exactly where the other Corp members currently live (in real life) and if they should try stealing from our Corp, I'll ground them, suspend their playing privileges and then log in with their character and just take it back.
However, should sometime in the future we decide to open the Corp to members who are not family, I will definitely remember your words of wisdom. |

That's not very nice. Do you also punish your kids if they beat you at basketball? https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=346564 - a proposal to overhaul the Logistics skill https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. www.minerbumping.com - ganking miners and causing chaos |

Kids need to learn to be sneakier. "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. GǪ" |

Even if the contract is issued by somebody you trust, you should read it at least twice.
Family members are not exempt from shenanigans in Eve, I stole my brothers battleship for giggles, and then promptly lost it to an NPC.
Also read this, this is a prime example
Boom Boom Longtime wrote: I was betrayed.
I invited several of my family over and I made dinner.
I was naive to leave boom boom online while i went afk given my sister plays eve also.
While i was sitting on the toilet squeezing out a rather large and painful deposit, my sister was also ensuring another large deposit was transpiring also.
This has caused severe divisions within the family.
Not the sort of drama you can simply flush away.
