Got a strange notification message via evemail while flying between stations:
Quote: Where's my book? From: Hecharokel Chitte Sent: 2014.06.17 22:46
Why are you so indecisive about books? Do they frighten you? Are you afraid you might catch "the literacy"?
It's too early for my storyline mission, and the agent is 'distribution' not 'storyline.' I went to visit the guy, and the agent had nothing to say other than offering me an unrelated L1 courier mission.
It looks like a glitch in CCP's software, maybe some event that was deleted but still has auxilliary triggers littering the database?

I checked google hours ago, didn't see anything. No one has posted... so try looking at your mission journal? Do a personal assets search? Start a remote convo with the agent in question? Go to his station, kick his A** and tell him to never bother you again? |

Nice find.
Tanfahin Tsani,
Maybe that message was due to an expired mission that was offered to you a week ago. Definitely something to look into.
You probably already know this info but I'm gonna go through the motions anyway.
Storyline Agents are assigned to a specific Agent Division (Security, Distribution or Mining). They have a small pool of missions available, most of which are usually Courier.
All Storyline mission offers will be listed as 'Important Storyline' in the Journal after receiving the Agents Eve Mail message. It takes about 5 to 15 minutes for the message to be received after completing 16 regular missions of the same level for a specific Faction. That mission count is always active and may take time to reach 16. For example, you complete 15 level 1 missions then move up to level 2, then 3, etc and years later do another level 1 mission resulting in a Storyline offer.
Check standings in your character sheet on the Agents Faction - Show Transactions - and see if any standing increase is listed. The mission name, date and time of completion will be listed with it.
I must say the message you received is definitely strange to say the least, not to mention the fact that the agent isn't listed as a Storyline Agent. I do know that sometimes the message, the Agent and or the mission itself can become bugged.
Best course of action is to open a 'Support Ticket' in-game asap and let a GM sort it out.
