I have access to a POS, but don't know what formula is use for POS ice refining...
I am not in high-sec so access to ice refineries is hard and also the NPC station close-by is owned by a corp that has only distribution agents and increasing standings are incredibly slow.
How can I calculate the yield for POS ice refining? All I can find is pre-Kronos formulas which obviously are not correct anymore.

Pre-Kronos formula are correct since nothing changed around refining in Kronos (see patch notes)
If you're talking about the upcoming changes to refining, those are still 5 weeks out. |

What I got for sure, it is that it is hard capped to 75%. If so, POS refine it is pointless for me, as I get already 92.6% at NPC station, which I don't know how to improve faster...

Yup. No point at all in refining at a POS in the next 5 weeks. |

IIRC, the cap only applies to ores (veld, scord, etc) and not to ice.
However, if you're in hisec, you cannot currently refine in a POS in the first place. One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |

tl;dr: Train your refining skills to 5. Buy an implant. A POS will be getting a slight advantage, more so in losec than hisec. OP, use that POS. Use it hard.
So much bad information in this thread. I'll summarize the refining-related changes below.
Until Crius is released on July 22, refining ice at a POS will still give perfect yield regardless of skills. Refining ore at a POS is completely ******** and should never be done unless you live where you cannot access a refinery station (w-space for example).
Post-Crius (July 22), the refining formula will change everywhere, including POSes. NPC station refining yield is being slashed by about a third.
Refining skills are getting a rebalance that will require you to have maximum skills, standings, and the best implant in order to get the same yield you currently enjoy in hisec stations. This will give you a yield of 72.36%.
The mineral content of all ores and ice are being multiplied by 1.381 in order to compensate. The contents of unrefined moon goo are also being boosted because they are only effected by scrapmetal reprocessing, which I will get into shortly.
All refining will be done in batches of 100 units. No more odd numbers like 333 units. The amount of minerals you get out of a 100 unit batch will be directly proportional to what you get out of the current batch sizes, adjusted by the 1.381 mentioned above.
Reprocessing, that is anythign that is not an ore or ice, will no longer consider any skills except the Scrapmetal Reprocessing skill, standings, and station equipment. So max reprocessing rate for ships and modules for example will be about 52% of current.
At a POS you can get a 2% bonus with the Refining Array, and a 4% bonus with an Intensive Refining Array. Obviously standings are irrelevant except for access. But skills will be taken into account. So with those same perfect skills and implant you will get slight better yields than are currently possible.
Player-controlled outposts in nulsec will have a base refining rate plus up to an additional 10% bonus if they have been fully upgraded. But since you indicated losec, I won't get too far into that. I believe the max is somewhere in the neighborhood of 82.36%.
The standings requirements for anchoring a POS in hisec will be removed.
The Medium Intensive Refining Array is going to be repurposed into a Compression Array. So you will be able to compress ore at your POS if you wish to transport it or sell it on the market.
Compression blueprints are being removed. Compression will become instantaneous. Like ore refining, ore compression will no longer require odd batch sizes. Compressed ore mineral contents and stacks will be adjusted accordingly.
Losec is getting some more valuable ores in the rarer anoms. GÇ£I personally refuse to help AAA take space from itself so it can become an even shittier version of itselfGÇ¥

I may be wrong, but I recall something about POS refineries being able to refine ICE at 100%. The cap was only for minerals. That will change with the coming update, but for the next few weeks you should be good to go. |

If you have Ice Processing 1, you get 100% refine on ice using a POS refinery, now. This changes after Crius.
Read the info on the array:
Quote:Refining yield efficiency does not apply to ice ores, which are always refined at the maximum efficiency the operator is capable of. |

I had the impression (obviously I was wrong), that they will compensate for this nerf as well (ship\module reprocessing).
Just to dispel my confusion, lets say i have 1Billion isk worth loot in my hangar, scheduled for reprocessing. Currently i can reprocess this loot with 100% efficiency and yield minerals that, more or less, will earn me 1Billion isk by selling them. If I reprocess them post Crius with 55% maximum reprocessing value, i will get 45% less profit ? The new looks of the Typhoon hulls are-áamazing!! It's like flying-áa Battlestar Galactica with a Tengu bow :)
