As a victim of very unfortunate timing (chasing a suspect from low sec in to high sec to tackle it on the other side, only to have the suspect flag drop the exact same time a module activated resulting in facepalmingly concord action), I had a quick idea.
Would it be beneficial to have a "High sec safety" setting or such so that when you jump from low/null/wh in to high sec to chase a bozo trying to push his suspect flag to the limit, it automatically switches, but can still be overidden manually.
Only suggesting this because when following such suspects there's often not enough time to mess about clicking safety buttons to make sure you don't get surprise gangbanged by the authorities. |

I understand the warnings when entering low and see the need for switches to an extent. But if you fight in low or null, one of thevfirst things you learn, is to know your next high sec system.
I see what you are saying, but disagree with the need for a switch. Plus it's too damn funny when it happens and makes for hilarity on comms.

Yes, it is quite entertaining, but sometimes you're just not expecting that blinky to jump to high sec, and when mashing the jump button don't have time to change the safety.
And Never not yellow? You haven't experienced the joy of cracking an egg full of slaves/crystals in low sec? |
