So, I filed a bug report about this when it first happened with the Sisi launcher a couple of weeks back (unfortunately I cannot see when exactly I wrote and send the report), and now I see this on the TQ launcher.
The pointless notification about how many names there are in the list pushes the actually important box partly behind the password field and parts of the pointless message are obstructed by the red bar, which belongs (or so I thought from previous versions of the launcher) into the username box and not outside of it. Moreover, the tip "use the arrow keys to navigate" is misleading. If I only have 1 list entry because there is only 1 character names "Character", I cannot navigate anywhere.
Is this notification about the number or list entries really absolutely necessary? Are EVE players not capable of counting a couple of list entries themselves? Are they even interested in this kind of information? What kind of benefit does it offer to them?
The answers for me to these questions are: No, I don't see a use of it. No, I can count; that's why I have a university degree. No, because it doesn't provide me with important information. There is a benefit to know that the list has 3 entries?

I mean, I am just a paying customer, but I want to ask you to refrain from implementing outright dense things and use your apparently plentiful resources to work on important things ... like the bug reporting system. |

Could you please try to clear your launcher cache? You can do so by opening the setting menu in the launcher (cog-wheel in the top right), switch to the "Cache" tab and clear all cached data. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Gridlock-á Bug reporting | Mass Testing |

That "fixed" it. However, the launcher did not behave in this way yesterday, even after a series of re-logs and cache-cleans. Is there any way to see what causes this inconsistent behavior of the launcher? |

Is there any way to see what causes this inconsistent behavior of the launcher? Not that I would know of. I tried to look into this myself before, but without results (except that clearing cache seems to help) - but keep in mind that I am not on a team, which is working on this.
