I was thinking (since I am skill training and bored) about ISK and a commoner life in EVE. Lets supposed the following things.
A ton of wheat costs around 90isk¦s, lets suppose that a ton of bread costs triple, so around 270isk¦s, but you dont eat a ton of bread every month, just hm lets suppose, 10kgs (a lot of bread ), this makes that you are going to spend around 2.7 isks every month with bread.
But you dont eat only bread right? You drink water, take a shower, wash your hands and your space ship , or hovercar. Lets suppose that you spent a 1000 liters of whater per month, this makes around 120 isks per month.
Also you need medicin, this makes around 60isk per month (1 kg), well lest make a summary for monthly expenses, all calculations are supposing that you have a big family or eat a lot:
-Wheat (bread) 2.7 isk -Water 120 isk -Medicin (antibiotics) 60isk -Dairy products 40isk -Frozen food 20isk -Consumer electronics 100isk -holorels 100isk -Synthetic coffe and tobbaco around 50isk per month -Quafe 20isk
Now think about you can sustain a huge family, or eat a lot with less than 5000 isk per month and when you started the game you already got more than 20000isk (the starting money plus the sell value of the damage control that you start with). You already start rich.
Of course EVE is a game of money, lot of money, but if you are a commoner and someone let drop a 150mm scout cannon at your doorstep you are rich . The price of a single +1 implant can allow you to have your own restaurant in gallente prime.
That¦s weird, I would like to be allowed to spend my ISK¦s inside the stations like a commoner, go to parties and drink a lot .
Well just some thoughs for other players who dont have nothing better to do.

This makes the agent rewards seem generous.

it kinda makes isk look over valued. unless u changed say the value of isk to the $. so 60 isk isnt actually 60$ but $0.60.
none the less, having partys and feeding your charecter somewhat is a nice idea!

Think about mcgregor, even that agent which only pays you 10.000 isk is already paying you a loot of money for EVE standards. and stop editing your post, or i cant talk about it

Well there are probably tens, maybe hundreds of billions of people in EVE, so the economies would be pretty huge. Also, the pod pilots are the elite of the elite. If you think about it, there are 130k unique players, so say 250k pod pilots, and for statistics sake let's say there are 250 billion citizens in the empires. That means pod pilots constitute roughly 0.000001% of the population. It's not inconceiveable to think of the pod pilots controling that type of wealth as the cream of a 250 billion person society. _______________________________________________
