Crazier things have happened and I am know to do things that not everyone does.
Now I seek information about two combat ships that would not be known as combat ships, the Procurer and the Skiff.
How many points would they take in the tournament? signature |

Procurer and skiff are mining barges/exhumers. Per the rules, "Ship types not listed in the table are not allowed. " Mining barges and exhumers are not listed in the hull types/points table, so therefore they are not permitted in the arena as I understand the rules.

Industrial ships are not the same hull/ship class as exhumers and Mining Barges. Look at the market categories, and you will see that Industrial Ships are one hull/ship class, and Mining Barges are another. Mining Barges may be used for "industrial" purposes, but they are not Industrial Ships.
Industrial Ships is on the list of permissible ship/hull types, Mining Barges and Exhumers are not.

While this may be my personal interpretation, ultimately, of course, this is up to CCP to determine, but the rules are pretty clear to me.
Edit: They probably don't want mining barges in the tourney because it's supposed to be "serious." :) What you do for yourself dies with you, what you do for others is immortal.

Aeons and Hels fall under the Capital Ship category. Capital Ships and carriers are not listed on the allowable Ships and Points list, so it's safe to assume they are not permissible

(Plus, we can't fit cyno's on our ships).

Apparently the rules don't apply to CCP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94Hf9UdKbWQ |

What about the venture and its T2 bretha the Prospect? These are "mining frigate" and "expedition frigate" and viable for combat (as demonstrated by certain combat logs.) Are these allowed? Are these barred? |

Assuming lists are composed using 'item group' names, venture is allowed and prospect isn't. Item group is shown in ship preview, right next to the ship race. Expedition frigate group is not on the list, thus it's not allowed (venture is just a frigate).
This is obviously just assumption, up to devs to confirm it. |
