Once I invent the t2 bpc where do I get the parts from, do Pi give them or I buy them off market? |

Some parts are manufactured, some are just different components. You can buy the parts but almost always making the construction parts yourself is more cost effective. Run the numbers. Also double check the BPO's on the construction components, some require additional science skills.
Many construction parts for ships use Advanced Moon Materials.

Oh ok, also when I look at a box it says material level and productivity lvl, what does that mean? |

Material level - refers to amount of material waste. Productivity level - refers to amount of time wasted. Same as for T1 BPs (please don't say you jumped straight into T2 production...) |

No I did not, but for material lvl and productivity lvl, do I want the numbers high or low, I really don't understand it |

Same as for T1 production, since you have some experience with that...

I take it you didn't bother following the link I posted and you quoted...
It's a site where you can load up BPs, play with the ME and see the exact results. |

Go to the site, load up a blueprint, play with the ME and PE values, look at the material waste and production time as they change accordingly. |

High ME/PE levels are good, low (including negative ones) are generally bad. This is valid for every blueprint (T1 and T2). Invented T2 BPCs usually have -4/-4 ME/PE, which can only be modified using decryptors during the invention process, and those are usually only used for ship and rig inventions.
To get back to your original question: T2 blueprints can have the following kinds of materials: - a T1 item, which is required for every T2 item except for ammo - T2 components, which are build using advanced moon materials bought from the market (afaik ammo uses the adv. moon materials instead of the components) - Morphite, a mineral almost only used for T2 manufacturing, although some T1 blueprints require it as well - PI materials, also bought from the market - minerals (like Tritanium, Pyerite etc.)
The only exception from the above list are T2 rigs, which only require T2 salvage (which can be salvaged from faction rats or found in relic sites). If you're looking for some general guides on T2 manufacturing, try this: T2 production. |

T1 is a more or less good start, if you haven't done that already. Otherwise, start with drones or modules, those are I suppose the easiest things to build. Low production times for most of the required components/items and decent profit margins.
I suggest you also download and play around with "ISK per Hour", I found that very helpful for both finding profitable items as well as creating shopping and to build lists. Nothing is more annoying than flying back and forth to your closest market hub because you forgot to buy some materials. |

There are stickies at the top of the forum you should read and familiarize yourself with. Also, run AND PAY ATTENTION TO the Industry tutorial missions for whatever your chosen faction is. You can't learn production by asking random questions here. "Blow it all on Quafe and strippers." --- Sorlac |

Tal'Rashas Urteil wrote:And as a beginner in manufacturing what can I work with at first? It takes at most level 3 science skills to manufacture all T2 components, except advanced components used for jump freighters (level 4).
I recommend at least level 4 skills for invention, and level 5 for ship invention. |

- Level 3 Science Skills: Manufacturing only. [Requirement of T2 components].

- Level 5 Science Skills: Invention of ships. [Ships should be avoided by novices.]
Others may not agree with my recommendations.
As with all things in industry, do the math for yourself, and see if whatever you have chosen to build is profitable with your skills. |
