Hi all,
I am going to start moving into 0.4 and below space in a few weeks and all the advice I get which is common is to warp out as soon as I see trouble. So I wanted to make an Emergency warp key. So when I hit it, I warp somewhere (anywhere) out of harms way.
Does anyone know how to do that?

Well, you can't. You need some kind of location to warp to, there is no random warp option.
You could make instabookmark but what they most likely mean is so called safespot.
You create safespot by warping to some faraway location in solarsystem and making bookmark while in warp. Then you can warp to this bookmark, choose new target, warp and again make bookmark midwarp. This way you create bookmark which is, or shouldn't be, near any celestial body where you could be followed easily.
But guys with suitable equipment will eventually find that spot so use it just to get your bearings, figure out what to do and get out of there fast. Safespot is safe only as long as nobody else knows where it is.

You cant make hotkeys. Your best bet would be to align yourself with a planet so if you need to warp quickly you dont have to bother with turning around to warp. Or you could set your autopilot to a system and align to the next gate but then you always run the risk of running into a gate camp

There isn't such possibility, but the trick that is used most is put Autopilot to a neighboring system and activate it as soon as there is a danger in sight.
Gatecamps in 0.4 are rare to my knowlegde.

Using the autopilot can lose you a valuable couple of seconds when getting away from people like me.
It's best just to stay roughly alligned to something, and keep an eye on local.
If something enters that you don't like, make offski.
Simple.
