You bought the plexes with isk? Were the purchases for speculation? If not, why did you borrow 4bil when you could just have used the isk you spent on the collateral? There are two types of EVE player:

1. Yes. Long ago.
2. Kind of, but I carefully evaluated the risk. If the price of the PLEX rising, then that money worked for me, if falling, then worked against me, still they will be transited back for exactly 1 billion isk per plex no matter what.
3. Now, 3,2 billion isk works for me (don't see it wether or not for or against me), and 4 billion isk works for me also in trade. Looking for uncollateralized and collateralized loans. |

So wait, you're valuating this venture at 7.2 billion isk?

In my perspective, yes, it is, for the investor it's just a 4 billion investment with 80% collateral. Looking for uncollateralized and collateralized loans. |

That's kind of an odd way to put it, but something that appreciates like PLEX is great as collateral, you end up double dipping with an investment in something long term and actively trading with the same amount of ISK. .

It's what he said. Even agreed to it in the post above yours. Thing is, the plex he offered up as a collateral are appreciating exactly nothing for him at the moment, since he'll have to dump 4.08b on the investors if he wants them back at the end of the minimum two-week period outlined in his initial post. If they aren't "appreciating exactly nothing for" me at the moment, how would you explain a case where I bought four PLEX for 3.200.000.000 ISK, made them as a collateral, after deal has been successful, I liquidate them for example 3.300.000.000 ISK?
(And it has nothing to do anything with their four billion isk investment and the interest on it, as that's covered with the profit from the work of the money.)
Anyway, my main purpose wasn't to make even more profit with the deal, just picked an item which would over 80% of a investment of full billion. Also mentioned in one of my posts, that I will to give any type of item of their choose, and they agreed to get PLEX as collateral.
Also, every type of collateral can make profits, not just PLEX (positive and negative of course). Looking for uncollateralized and collateralized loans. |

PLEX is appreciating nothing at the moment? That's news to me. This is basically a 200m per slot uncollateralized loan anyway. .

Not totally true. If it would be a 100% collateralized investment, then the interest wouldnt be that high. With 80% collateral, you are right that 200 million is uncollateralized, but overall, the collateralized part makes more interest too. Looking for uncollateralized and collateralized loans. |

The risk that you would run with 800m was small, the risk that you would run with more gets considerably larger.
If these investors don't have the option to respond to the changes in security in the bond, then you can leverage them for credibility at the same time as you still hold their isk. In most cases in MD, people are expected to pay back one loan, before using it to leverage the next. |

I understand your description, and now I see why it raises the risk involved for investors. (only considered the individual risks, not the size, but the chance of it raising by this)
Sorry for the sudden capacity raise, considering Bad Bobby's explanation I decided not to expand the project yet, but after it was run successful till the end.

Dude it's because someone able to turn a decent profit with 5b capital can not necessarily do the same with 50b.
By the way: There is no way to proove your legitimacy that you actually own 100b or similar unless you finally get that audit done. Otherwise this smells rep-building-scheme all over. |

Well, there can always be more important things but given the rapidity of postings so far it is indeed an odd timing. Though I guess after some second thoughts of the op he will come up with a good explanation because scamming 800m or so is indeed lolzworthy. |
