With the new patch that hit today, you can no longer view how much material an item will take to run by looking at the materials required at an NPC station. This makes it incredibly difficult to see if it is worth purchasing a BPC off of contracts. So currently one would have to already own a BPC/BPO (or use a 3rd party tool), to see what the material cost of an NPC station actually is.
Can we get it changed so when you show info on a blueprint, we see the actual cost of 1 run of the blueprint with our current skills, at an NPC station, and before teams come into play?

Yeah, i've noticed that too. It's pretty confusing and making things more complicated.
Another thing i noticed while looking at my Tech2 RIGs invention/production is, that better ME levels are not nearly as much reducing the required materials as before the patch. In consequence it makes decryptors in that situation pretty much worthless.
Example, using a "process" decryptor for a large T2 RIG invention.
Before patch:
ME level: -4 -> -1 Interface Circuit: 23 -> 18 Intact Armor Plates: 20 -> 16 Nanite Compound: 15 -> 12
Total Cost: ~ 87 Mil -> ~ 70 Mil (-20%)
After patch:
ME level: -0% -> -5% Interface Circuit: 23 -> 22 Intact Armor Plates: 20 -> 19 Nanite Compound: 15 -> 15
Total Cost: ~ 87 Mil -> ~ 83 Mil (-5%)
For now, i've just looked at my RIG invention and don't know if the ME levels for other items also scale that bad and/or if it is intended this way. |

If I understood correctly, this issue has been fixed in today's patch. See patch notes. EVE Online: Death-o-meter |
