I was studying some BPO's today and noticed there is no longer any info on the invention aspect. I had to look at a copy to see invention info. I hope this is an over site and will be changed. At least a BPO should show what skills are required to invent with it. Why would i make copies for invention if my characters aren't trained enough to use it?? Does anyone else agree with me? 1. "Install" (select) the BPO into the S&I UI. ["show in industry"] 2. Click on the invention icon. 3. Mouse-over (or is it click on) the skills box below the BPO (green = good to go, red = missing skills).

Thanks for your reply. I have already read the updated Industry Overview and tried what you wrote. When I install a BPO the invention tab is not highlighted as is the manufacture, me, te and copy icons. I see the required skills in the highlighted icons but clicking on the invention (and reverse engineering) icon shows nothing. -chuk |

It was a lot easier when you could call up the blueprint in the regional market window and use Show Info to find out all the requirement. |

Its definitely a loss of functionality. Does this qualify as a bug?
Of course you can't invent off of a BPO, but the information should still be there. Should I have to go through contracts, find the bpc I want, and then do a show info to find the invention requirements? |

I have a funny feeling that this was probably an oversight on CCP's part, but I could be wrong. Up until (and if) it's addressed, the contracts look to be the best bet, unless of course you have some BPCs kicking around anyway. |

The relevant BPC will be listed under "Outcome". You can then click the (i) button to show info on the BPC, and get to the invention information there.
Bit silly that it takes so many steps now given the massive UI improvements everywhere else, but at least it's still available! |

Oddly enough, on all of my BPO info tabs, the invention button is greyed out and non-functional. However, it works on the BPCs I have for the exact same item, sitting in the exact same hangar. |

When looking at the blueprint original show info, go to the copy tab, then show info on the copy blueprint. But yes, the blueprint show info needs to be iterated upon to have that functionality again. I'll bring that up to our team, thanks for pointing it out. |

1. Click info button on bpo
2. Click "view in industry" button at bottom
3. Click on copying button
4. Right click on blueprint in outcome box and select show info
5. Select the invention tab and you can view all the necessary skills required plus other info
Anything new takes some time getting used too. So far I'm loving the new interface. -chuk |

Previously in the BPO show info manufacturing tab, it listed minerals/etc required taking the ME into account. Any chance we can have this info back? If the BPO is in a job, there is no way to see this info ingame, unless I'm missing something. |
