I am a little over-leveraged at the moment and I'm looking for a short term loan to shore up my operations until some positions get closed out. I have previously run and successfully closed eight bonds (last bond with links to earlier ones).
The terms are simple, 10 billion for 3 days (repayment on the 29th) at 3% interest.
I'm looking for a single lender and hopefully relatively soon. |

I'm afraid not. More of an uncollateralized commercial paper situation. |

You say good luck but it kinda feels like you don't mean it.
If the loan isn't filled in the next twelve hours or so I'll cancel it because by that time I'll already have had to scale stuff back to prevent seeing failed margin orders. If you're interested just give me a poke. I'll be checking the thread pretty regularly. Thanks! |

It's not quite that the 12 hour mark but I've already slowed down my activity to try and let my capital catch up with my orders. I wish I didn't have to but then I guess unless someone is well known and well trusted this sort of sudden and large loan can't be realistically expected to be filled. Eve isn't really the place for a money market to flourish. |

I think the problem here is that the amount is a big leap (double) from your previous uncollateralised bond, normally analysed as a significantly increased risk, while at the same time you have reduced the reward for taking that risk dramatically from 7% to 3%. I suspect you would have had more luck if you had done one or the other. There are two types of EVE player:
those who believe there are two types of EVE player and those who do not. |

I see that now. Frankly, that's just about how much I think I would need to avoid any cutbacks and 3% was also just about all I was willing to pay. That said, when I look at it from the other side, it does look like a pretty high risk with a pretty low reward. A lesson for the future I suppose. |

3% for three days is very high, but it can't be that big of a deal if you only needed it for three days. .

I'll do it for 2% if you can arrange mutually acceptable collateral.
