So, I started thinking some more about cap ship construction and maybe doing it with copies out of a pos rather than our bpo's out of a station.
Jumped onto sisi and threw a medium pos up in lowsec, installed a cap ship assembly array and a thukker component array and got busy with my spreadsheet.
But then I started getting confused. For quick checking I bought a Capital Armor Plates BPO from the market so 0 research. Show info from the market window and it needs 473,141 Trit (I'm just showing trit as an example since it's the biggest figure), put it in station and it shows 466,044 Trit (-1.5%), put it in the Thukker Component array and it shows 402,170. The thukker is meant to save 10% materials but what is this 10% of?
Then I went to buy a normal component array which should save 2% of the materials which it does save 2% from the station build requirements.
So anyone got any ideas why building in a station is less than the show info, and what the figure is based from that the thukker is meant to save 10% of?
There's no teams in system.
I might have missed it in one of the many dev-blogs

could be that there is (was?) one of those "Teams" working out of that station for you.
or (more likely) the build requirements tab was wrong. One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |

What you see in station is not correct and does not agree with that i see on SiSi, 473,141 Trit is the correct amount for ME 0 and no teams in NPC Station. Maybe check again on sisi, there was a new build. And make sure there is no team selected.
On SiSi the Thukker Component Assembly Array reduces the amount by 15% for some reason, i'm not sure if that's also the case on TQ. |

It's all very strange. it was only this morning that I was checking. There's no teams listed but what I'll do is move the bpo to a different system and see what happens.
Yeah I'm getting around the 15% which is what confused me :)
