All the code is are bullies and they are about to kill a major part of new players by setting up an event to kill ventures and noob's in rookie systems. At the moment all the code really wants are killmails and say hey look at us we are the bad a** players of eve. The only reason i did those speeches against the code was to get everyone to know how they treat other players of eve. Their mental attitude is to have everyone in high sec play the way they want eve players to play. By what ganking other players and fueling your own killmails.
A majority of us don't give a flying rip about killmails we decide to either build the game and develop an area of the games foundation, and all the code is doing is taking that foundation and ripping it apart. On their main website code takes the pleasure of using us high sec carebears and showing anyone who reads the site on how violent we are in local.
All we are doing is treating the code how they treat us.(this is where the old saying comes in: "treat others the way you want to be treated")
I prefer to use the truth as a weapon and those who cant handle it can cry me a river build me a bridge and get over it. Right now if code gets to gank as many ventures and kills a good part of the players who play eve. Then that means a couple of things:
1. Code is using the Eula agreement to their advantage 2. Telling everyone who is in high sec to play their way when it is a sandbox game which means everyone is allowed to do what ever they want to do in eve 3. the Eula Agreement is an agreement that lets other people know before playing a game that we want people who understand what they are getting into and know what can happen if something does happen 4. Eve is made for everyone not just a few(the needs of many outweigh the few)
CCP I urge you do so something because i am not leaving this game because i love playing eve with friends. And i do encourage to to get on these idiots who are playing you for fouls because the last thing i want to see is eve go down the toilet like a game i use to play called global agenda(only hackers, multiboxers, losers play it now) and when the game community had asked for something to be done about them and they had left it to the needs of few instead of listening to the needs of many.
CCP you need to draw a fine line of where old players cannot become a few players then those few players pick on everyone just to say hey look at us we are the bada** players of eve and we have cause a majority of eve to leave game. That is something i will stand up against and enough is enough.
CODE have been extorting other players which is legal in the game but picking on other players and having them hang and dry on their main website and saying look at how these players treat us and we should kill them all just to fuel our needs. so when did the needs of a few outweigh the many. it never did.
I do in fact encourage other players to not buy a permit to use what ever weapon they have against the code and not give them any respect or honor because respect and honor is earned and it can never be taken.
the code needs to earn its respect as well as its honor. It has none and never will be since they are using the mechanics and systems for their own fun.
And should i remind everyone eve is a sandbox game and anything can happen in it. But when you have an opposing force come in and say how everyone should play the game and only to use everyone else for their own fun is just plain wrong. Since when did playing a sandbox MMO start to become an Empire Build game where only a few players play it(ie less then 200).
The code and everyone who hates be is allowed to have their own opinion but the moment you say my opinion is not like yours sorry but you can not shove your own opinion down mine and say what you want and get your ways when i am around. I like to help other players and have each player have their own voice instead of everyone having 1 voice.
The best Leaders to ever lead, lead by example never by force or fear.
and yes i did re-copy this from dryson's own discussion and yes this is all my own words and i mean 100% of it. If you can't say anything nice don't say it all but i do treat other players on how they treat me. I am a nice guy until someone uses me for their own game and pleasure. Sorry code but you don't deserve to be the righteous saviors of high sec because you came out to take out the bots of eve not just the individual players who have say less then 2 accounts. I do agree 3 should be the max and anything over is just wrong. Next time before biting off to much then you can chew know everything about your target's never just a few. And yes i do know your plans about sending rookies my way and trying to awox me. Next time you decide to have a player train for just the catalyst and have them say i want the best DPS gunboat i will look at you and i will be looking down at you.
Oh and one more thing my view on who ever decided to put an event out to kill players who mine in ventures and are still getting use to playing eve should be banned right then and there. You never pick on the young and newer players because it is them who will end up replacing the old. and Yes the new do in fact have to replace the old because not 1 man can live forever, and all kingdoms do fall at one point. |

As far as CODE go, they are still not as far as I am aware a significant presence outside the 3 or 4 systems they inhabit on the pipe between Dodi and Hek. I have never seen them in Khanid or Ammatar hisec and never seem them in losec at all despite spending most of my time there. |

1) HTFU isn't something I usually say but c'mon. Suicide ganking is part of EVE. I think CODEs claim to high-sec ownership is a bit big for their britches but they still provide something to the game.
2) I'm pretty sure targeting rookie systems for ganks is against the rules so either you're mistaken (maybe they're targeting systems near rookie systems) or they're in violation of the rules. |

Targeting new players in rookie systems only hurts the game, there is nothing good to come from doing that. Yeah it's a sandbox...and you can play how you want...but there has to be a line you don't cross that only causes people who are brand new to never come back to the game.

That's just what they're doing - playing EvE how they want to. You may not like or agree with it, but as long as they follow CCP's rules they're allowed to do so.
As for killing new players in rookie systems - there's rules against that and I expect CCP would take action against any who do it.

EVE online terms of service
You may not use GÇ£role-playingGÇ¥ as an excuse to violate these rules. While EVE Online is a persistent world, fantasy role-playing game, the claim of role-playing is not an acceptable defense for anti-social behavior. Role-playing is encouraged, but not at the expense of other player. You may not create or participate in a corporation or group that habitually violates this policy.

OK, Code just wants your tears. You gave them your tears. Bad boy.
Code is just a few hundred peeps. Tiny alliance. If you tank your Orcas and Freighters and play smart, they are really not much of a problem. They have problems mustering the people to pull off gigantic ganks. What they love most is writing funny blog posts about murdering total morons who refuse to fit protectively and who refuse to accept that there is a PvP element in the game in high sec. Basically, ganking a dude with a bunch of paper-thin Hulks is just funnier to them than ganking a dude with ubertanked Skiffs. So they don't even have the numbers to Gank an Orca with 350K EHP. And while they can gank your Skiff, and are known to gank targets that give them no economic benefit, they probably won't bother to gank your Skiff because it's just not as funny.
Basically don't play like an AFK high sec care bear who refuses to acknowledge that there are threats out there and truthfully, they'll probably leave you alone. If you've been hit it's because you look like target that will provide them with some laughs. And yes, they will watch you with out of corp alts and scan your ships with passive targeters and ship scanners to check out how you fit before hitting you. So you can avoid them by just not playing like a dumb idiot care bear.
However, if they make high sec too dangerous for you, go to null where it's safer. |

Hahaha, what?
You can't use roleplay as a defence for breaking the EULA. So, CODE for example (nor me or anyone else), cannot use roleplay as a defence if they went and targeted rookie systems (or SOE epic arc systems) as that has been ruled as not allowed.
Roleplay in the forum and other forms of roleplay in game are not a breach of the EULA (which includes the TOS).
JTClone Areas has done the latter (roleplayed in a thread), not the former (used roleplay as a defence for breaching the EULA). I doubt CODE would be stupid enough to do that either.
It's harmless fun. Nothing more; and not something to take seriously on either side. Come Win At Eve - Join The Vendunari

You may not create or participate in a corporation or group that habitually violates this policy.http://community.eveonline.com/support/policies/eve-tos/ 1. You may not abuse, harass or threaten another player or authorized representative of CCP, including customer service personnel and volunteers. This includes, but is not limited to: filing support tickets with false information in an attempt to gain from it or have someone else suffer from it; sending excessive e-mails, EVE-mails or support tickets; obstructing CCP Employees from doing their jobs; refusal to follow the instructions of a CCP Employee; or implying favoritism by a CCP Employee.
I haven't heard of anyone in CODE falsifying tickets, sending excessive mail / tickets, or obstructing CCP.
2. You may not use any abusive, defamatory, ethnically or racially offensive, harassing, harmful, hateful, obscene, offensive, sexually explicit, threatening or vulgar language. (Alternate spelling or partial masking of such words will be reprimanded in the same manner as the actual use of such words.)
I'm not familiar with CODE agents typically doing this. If minerbumping is to be believed however then a lot of miners and mission runners are breaking this rule after interacting with CODE affiliates.
3. You may not organize nor be a member of any corporation or group within EVE Online that is based on or advocates any anti-ethnic, anti-gay, anti-religious, racist, sexist or other hate-mongering philosophies
I'm not familiar with CODE encouraging any of this, other than advocating against botting. But then pretty much everyone is against that.
So I'm not sure how their role-playing is breaking any of the rules. If anything it seems like a lot of miners and mission runners are the ones that would be reprimanded by CCP since they seem to tend towards real life threats and fairly vulgar language. |

Dude CODE is an high sec alliance and if they want to control high sec well you know that CCP will not do anything about it.
And this is a sandbox game you either put up with it or you go to low sec or null sec or Wormhole space you will not see CODE in those areas.
So as far as i am concerned EvE is working as intended.

But this is not a CODE member only event. They may know, but the people they are encouraging may not. I see this new event backfiring on CODE and hurting EVE. Ventures are heavily used by newbs, and if enough complain and quit, CCP will be forced to do something to nerf ganking in order to help keep new players. That would be bad for EVE as a whole. |
