Is there any way to tell (without asking the owner) as to what level a factory has been upgraded to? In an Amarr outpost, I'm looking at in particular.
Also, what would be the theoretical maximum ME reduction one could have on non-component items? (Can't use a Thukker Array in Null)
Thanks, Wanda |

The theoretical maximum would be the product of four multipliers: 0.90 for a ME 10 blueprint * 0.97 for a fully upgraded Amarr Factory Outpost * 0.95 for a team member of maximum level with a broad specialization that applies * 0.975 for a team member of maximum level with a narrow specialization that applies = 0.80861625 For a total reduction of 19.14%. Furthermore, i respectfully request these forums to be upgraded to support preformatted text. |

Excellent, thank you. Now, if I had only checked the station upgrades before Crius hit, I'd have an idea of where to start ... Anyone have an idea on how to tell your ME reduction on an Amarr outpost that you don't have the rights to see the upgrade window? |

Dotlan shows upgrade levels for example http://evemaps.dotlan.net/outpost/MY-W1V at lvl 2.
But no I don't think you can find exact upgrades without asking and the dotlan info is a bit delayed too |

Amarr can actually can be upgraded to 0.95 if you also install 2 plants. Same goes for Gallente and Minmatar. Caldari can only get .97 because they don't have plant upgrade. |

Ah, i failed to check the plant upgrades. Of course, i updated my post. I assume they stack additively, although with CCP's love for multiplications..
So you would have Amarr Basic Outpost Factory Platform Amarr Basic Outpost Plant Platform
Amarr Outpost Factory Platform Amarr Outpost Plant Platform
And either Amarr Advanced Outpost Factory Platform or Amarr Advanced Outpost Plant Platform Furthermore, i respectfully request these forums to be upgraded to support preformatted text. |

I can 100% confirm that they stack additively. Somewhere mentioned in a devblog but also on TQ. |

Amarr Advanced Outpost Upgrade wrote:An advanced upgrade to Amarr Outpost manufacturing capabilities. Gives an additional sixty factory slots and increases the manufacturing time reduction on all Tech I ships to 60%. |

The description says
Quote: Gives 1% Material Efficiency reduction to all manufacturing jobs (stacks with all other improvements of the same type)
That only tells you that they stack, not if they stack multiplicatively or additively.

That only tells you that they stack, not if they stack multiplicatively or additively. I stand corrected. The old descriptions were more informative.
The old descriptions indicated that an upgrade effectively replaced other lower upgrades, but also required them. |

It stacks , the maximum reduction is -5% albeit at a heavy cost though but just installing to -3% may be very cost effective considering the reductions to build times which are huge at player owned stations |
