hello. I was wondering, is it possible to add more features to the item costs? For example:
- Set it based on previous sales records, and give the option per item to select those sales records based on a certain time period, region, or specific station from sales you made yourself, or sales made by other people.
- set it based to a specific trading hub, or an average of the entire universe.
- Have the option to remember the item cost of different time periods. If for example the price of harpy ships goes up or down and i am selling a lot of harpies on the market, my overall profit on that ship that i can see will be wrong if we have just one item cost if i needed to change that to reflect the new cost of that ship.
- Make 2 different types of item costs. 1 for directly buying and selling on the market, and one for industry, where the item cost will be dependent on how much it costs to make for example on average 10 large shield extenders.
Right now if for example the item cost is empty, the numbers of total profit, margin and total income are not very useful. If i sell dozens of items, or hundreds of items, the task of updating the item cost becomes rather tiresome. Any change you could make to this would be very helpful.
I dont know if this is important or not, but i have chickens.....

You can always enable automatic cost adding on buy order fulfillment in the preferences. That way you'll always have a weighted average of those items you buy => real costs. There might be a way to utilize CREST market history to do some cost computation, but I don't really see it now.

Is this possible to use this program without being forced to use my login details? I'm so stupid that i can't make it work without this whole crest thing.
I'm quite concerned since I can't verify where my password goes, and I really need to check this market analysis tool out, it seems so awesome. Also, when I want to import something and the crest window appears it's "blocked" for some time.
Is this possible to use the market analyze tab without using my passwords but with manual reports of items i want to use?
Thanks in advance Sony |

The bug in the CREST login on Market Analysis tab has been fixed and will be released in the version. Using it on any other tab works fine. Also, the next version will support using an external browser for CREST authentication, as an alternative method for the built-in browser. Market analysis requires CREST to fetch the latest order data along with market history. I can assure you that no login/password information is being stored (anyone can verify this in the source code). If you want to stay safe, you can use a temporary password, or just wait for the next version.

Well, you answer was... FAST.
Thank you for that. So, in the next release (do you have any estimated time or something perhaps?) i'll be able to use external web browser to see that it's protected by CCP? It's nothing personal Pete, just eve learns ppl to not trust each other (at least when it comes to account passwords).
Also one more question - how do I import my desired items to analyze them? Do i use IGB for that, or just specify items and something magically happen?
Sorry for my newbie questions, but I NEED this application working :)

Well, I was planning on doing a release with every expansion, but it seems this one can be rushed a bit. I'll think about it next week. As for the analysis. When you get it working (if you really need it now, use a temp password or I can send you the latest development version), you can select any item/category you want to analyze via a market tree.

My apologies for 2nd post in a row but after testing evernus for 2 days i'd like to share my thoughts.
The application is great. Still waiting for visible CREST authentication so i can make sure my passwords are not going anywhere (i'm paranoid, i know) but still this application is the best one available for traders.
I really like the market analysis tab, it helps me a lot in what i want to do and i find it extremely useful. Although, I'd like to ask some questions regarding this analysis:
- Is there any way to save the previously scanned items? Let's say i want to scan all isotopes, some moon minerals, some subsystems and t2 modules (100 items total across several categories). Is there any way to save this "setup" to not be forced to manually check out and click every one of them to import data? - I really like the indicators since they are very popular and effective BUT - is there any chance you'll add more with time which we could use? Not sure if it's possible, I have completely no knowledge how this application works from "technical side".
The 2nd request is just a side request, but the 1st question is quite crucial. It would speed up process a lot for traders like me and make my life easier.
Thank you Pete so much for your hard work and for bringing us the best trading tool ever. Sony |

The first one is already done. I'll make a new release shortly. Adding more indicators is not a problem as long as the computation time stays low.

I was wondering, would it be possible to have a feature where the item costs tab is combined for all the characters that you have in the application? i noticed that if i go from my main toon to a new character i created a few days ago, my long item cost list that i had created on my main toon is empty on my other character.
Also, would it be possible to have a feature where you can readjust the columns on the different tabs automatically to all the same size, and for example make the size automatically fit with the best settings that will show all the different columns at their best appearance? Something similar to what jEveAssets has in their program. That would be very helpful.

There is an option in the preferences to allow cost sharing. I can make columns automatically resize always but that will turn off manual resizing. Now I try to resize on update and allow manual control later. Is some tab not doing that?

This is after a fresh install of 1.25-64bit on win7 and I've tried deleting the app data stuff but the error persists. Do you know what I should do? |

Have you used and uninstalled a previous version some time ago? Maybe the registry entries didn't get deleted. To solve this open regedit.exe, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\evernus.com and delete everything there.

Hi there,
First of all I would like to thank you for this amazing tool, you must've put a lot of work into it. I used Mentat for a long time but since it's not updated anymore it lacks some important features.
I have some questions if that's ok with you: - any progress on a more "trusted" crest authentication method? I have to say your goonswarm ticker doesn't instill trust :))
- the script feature is just amazing and I need it regularly. Is there a way to save the code so I don't have to type it in every time I open the app? If there is not I may suggest a "Save Filter" "Load Filter" option.
- I haven't seen any complaints in the thread so it must be just me, but can the numbers be aligned to the right? I find them really hard to read when I have very different numbers
150,000,000 35,000
As opposed too 150,000,000 ____35,000

It's already here. Click the big "external browser" button in the CREST login window.

The filters are saved automatically. You can expand the combo to see them or start typing to make the autocompletion work.
Regnar Avastum wrote: More precisely I'm trying to filter only the orders that are overbid but this proves to be difficult. The formula for price difference is not the same for "Buy" and "Sell" so the same code doesn't work for both. Any ideas?
Can you show the script you are using?

It's the price difference divided by custom cost.

My bad, I found it.
Quote:Can you show the script you are using?
order.overbid.diff <0 && order.overbid.diffRatio <0.1
That is the code I am using. The problem is that this code only works for buy orders, when I use it for the sell orders it returns the ones that are ok (or already overbid by me).

So it's just me? :D
Also is there an option to keep the column size fixed? It seems to reset itself on restart.

What's not to trust? Are you afraid he will steal your credentials and hack your account? If you are, or you have evidence that people are doing this, you should probably report that information directly to CCP. Hacking someone's account is no joke and if you know something, say something. |

E: And now for a real question, I am trying to do a CREST market data import, and what happens is the entire program locks up. I've got a very good computer, Intel i5 4670k, 16GB DDR2133 RAM, etc. and when I try to do a market data import (on the Market Analysis tab) from CREST, I select the button for select all regions except wormholes, and I check all the boxes except for the DUST514 items. When I hit the button to fetch the data, the whole application locks up, and in task manager it says it is using <50% of my CPU and 4.9GB of RAM is in use by the application. I let it sit like this for over 2.5 hours, and it did not produce any results, what am I doing wrong? For the record, I've never used Evernus before and am rather new to trading, so forgive me if I missed a step.
Locks up as in Windows reports it stopped responding or is the active tasks window just hanging there? Importing everything from every region takes A LOT if time and memory, but 2h seems rather large. Although I never actually tried to import literally everything. Importing everything from sinq laison takes about 10 minutes. Also, have you selected not saving imported orders?
