The Sync Function only upload the Sales in the Database and upload to the Dropebox without the "item-cost" prices? im very unhappy i lost every 200 item cost prices I hope you can help me or add this function for the next patch. Very great Tool! Thumbs up! Whole database is uploaded along with costs. Settings aren't synchronized, so maybe you turned off item cost sharing or similar.
I can only synchronized the database, thats all. I have no Option to selceted item cost prices or other things like that.

But seriously speaking, as a non-pro trader I started with 70 mil ISK and after a month I have 1,2b ISK and I was able to buy myself a Plex, so you can say that I made 2 billions ISK with starting capital of 70 million in just a month.
The great thing is that you don't need to be a pro trader to profit from this tool as it literally shows you good deals.
Market analysis is great, margin tool even better and fast price copy is just WOW!

Hi all. Just getting started with what looks like a killer tool. Still fumbling around though.
I buy such and such, and evernus reports that buy, but when I post a sell order of the same item, my cost is not populated. I'm sure there is just like one click I'm missing somewhere.... |

You can enable automatic cost adding in the preferences, and those will be populated when an order gets fulfilled. You can also select items in any transaction view and add them via context menu. Of course, you can add costs manually in their tab.

Only thing I see is "Download on Startup/upload on shutdown". Do you have to change something in EVE itself to locate the relevant log file in a dropbox (and then tell evernus the same)? |

New version which will be of interest especially to OSX folks:
- [new] clicking on a price type radio button in the Margin Tool copies the new price
- [new] best margin column in the sell order list
- [new] possibility to ignore invalid certificates in the preferences (not recommended!)
- [new] bundled Mozilla CA certificates on OSX due to OpenSSL bug
- [fixed] possibility to overwrite Dropbox database with a blank one
- [fixed] nested BPCs price calculation
- [fixed] inconsistent overbid detection in the IGB service
- [fixed] flagging fulfilled orders as overbid
- [changed] Carnyx database
Enjoy!

Since the update yesterday, I can't seem to get the margin tool to work. Nothing is showing up even when I change the settings.
Looks like a couple others have same issue: http://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/38gcmn/evernus_update/
Also to note, the market analysis tab crashes the program when you import data for some reason |

Question I have about what happens when I press Import Prices under Character Orders. The number of things it's trying to import seems to just keep increasing (it's up to over 10000 now) and this of course leads to a long lag time. Anyway to fix this or is it just something I'm going to have to live with?

It's trying to import all market orders for your items in given regions. 10k is rather... large. Should be one request per item per region. Can you send me a screenshot, so I'll know we're thinking of the same thing? If you're talking about the amount of imported orders it's trying to save - 10k is pretty small actually.

It sounds like it's the latter. Is there a way to make it so it's only importing the orders from a specific region or will I just have to live with it?

It already fetches only those for specific regions and specific items. CREST doesn't allow for any fine filtering beyond that.

It already was there and was removed. With CREST, market scanner and cache import makes no sense. CREST gives you more accurate results and it's faster.

What do you mean? Can you link the correct toolbar configuration instructions so I can follow what you are referring to? Sorry.
Notes: I have the "don't save imported orders" and " ignore type w..." boxes checked. I have the region selected as the forge as an example. Limit to solar system all; and margin set between 35 and 40% to limit the data output. When I select import data I select the region "the forge" and limit the types to 'ammunition & charges" and "ship equipment". again trying to limit the data so something will show in the analyzing screen/tab. |

That's a very tight margin you set. Try importing and removing all filters (remember setting the correct region). You should see something. Also take note if there are really crest requests being sent - you should see a counter while the import takes place. If there is still nothing even with no filtering applied, let me know.

Okay I try again. removed margin limit. Kept everything else the same. count started at 3170 and counts down...history upload completes....order server breaks right before it completes with a red icon. No information is given. Nothin shows on the market analysis tab when i close the loading window
As a side note; what is the difference between the region selected on the analysis tab, and the region selected when in the import window? |

So we know the problem. Red icon indicates error. If you don't see any text, try resizing the window until it appears. You can select multiple regions to import and just filter the desired one later, hence the double region selects.

- Correct. I can't seem to get the window to stop loading, so i can't copy and paste all the error reports. - Basically they are bad gatecode issues.

Bad gateway means the CREST server couldn't handle such load. It's a bit of a **** up on ccp part. Reduce the number of threads in the preferences. As for the regions - if you select multiple, it will fetch them all. You can then use the filters to switch between them.
