I'm thinking about buying all the books off Amazon but a couple questions first.
How many are there? What order do they go in? |

The comics? The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity. |

Eh, Empyrean Age and Templar one, those were... nice. But they didn't focus enough on the capsuleers. I really don't know why somebody would write a book about EVE Online and then don't focus on capsuleers and Dust Bunnies as main characters... Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

We could summarize all of high sec and its habitants pretty easily.
Day 1: Mined some veldpar Day 2: Mined some more veldspar Day 3: Was offered a level 3 combat mission but the mission text was all red and dangerous looking to I did a level 2 Courier mission instead.
I'm sure we could stretch that out to at least a dozen books. The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity. |

Out of the three, I can only recommend Templar One.
Spend your money instead on The Expanse series by James S. A. Corey. Allow me to be frank. You will not like me. You will not like me now, and you will not like men++ a good deal less as we go on. |

The books are independent stories, it matters not in which order you read them. I read all three and enjoyed all three, but unlike some books I truly love, I wouldn't bother reading them a second time. So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter. |

I'd read The Empyrean Age first, because it kind of lays out the whole background of New Eden (the four races, famous characters such as Tibus Heth, Empress Jamyl, etc.) Then A Burning Life. Just because the events in Templar One seem to be the most recent chronologically. (DUST tech is introduced).

The whole point of the books is to explain the lore and the backstory to the things we see happen in the game. Also the gallente soldier guy and Jamyl Sarum are both capsuleer themselves.
If you want capsuleers stories read the comics and watch the TV show when it comes out :D
I for one prefer the backstory lore because it makes the universe feel more "real". The Drake is a Lie |

Empyreans Age def came before Templar One and they even share characters. They are in a chronological order of the history too anyway.
The Burning Life can be read anytime really. The Drake is a Lie |

i own empyrean and burning, I bought Templar one for the kindle to read on a plane, i'm about 1/2 way through, it has not grabbed me, but tis a decent read In a room full of dumb blondes, EvE is the smart red head on the other side of the room.-á Lots of men like dumb blondes, and not everyone will like the smart red head, but she doesn;t need to change to be a dumb blonde.-á She is perfect how she is.-á Thats EvE vs other mmo's.-á You either like the red head, or you don't. |

I enjoyed Empyrian Age immensely, Templar One a bit less. Read Empyrian Age first because there are some anecdotes in Templar One that refer to Empyrian Age.
The Burning Life was easy and more like a "long" story. |
