Does anyone have any good links to a "surviving in a C3 wormhole" guide? Iv look on google but there are a few and I'm unsure of if there actually any good or up to date. Does anyone have any experience with a decent one?
Some information:
- I'll be going solo. Found a really good WH and I don't want to have to deal with pirates and the checks that need doing to setup a corp.
- Won't be mining right away. But I can comfortably run all the sites and the PI.
- I'll be leaving a scanning alt in there, just in case.
Basically I need a good guide to read and help me get setup, and any help you can give me would be welcome! |

If you ask really nicely... ISD Dorrim Barstorlode may be able to point you in the right direction...
Edit: Dorrim suggests Wormhole FAQ as a starting point. Have fun! ISD Decoy Lieutenant Community Communication Liaisons (CCLs) Interstellar Services Department |

See this post for wormhole basics. You need to know everything on that list backward and forward. Other things to research when moving into a new system:
-How to set up a secure POS -How to scan / dscan (covert ops is highly advised) -What you need to run sites (In a C3, probably a strategic cruiser or battleship) -What is your system's static? (This affects logistics) -What is the mass on your static? (You can control the spawn by moving mass through and "rolling" it) -What is your system effect? (This will affect your ship choice for PVE and PVP)
Are you set on living in a C3? They tend to be under-inhabited because they have only empire statics. This means you cannot roll your static for more WH sites (or WH pvp), so you will have a limited supply of both. For a casual solo player, this may not be an issue. However, if you plan to run sites often, you may find a distinct lack of sites in your home system without an easy way to generate more by rolling your static. C2s and C4s lend themselves to PVE because they can have static connections to other low-class wormhole systems, yielding an infinite supply of sites. This makes them popular though, so it can be difficult to find an empty system to claim.
Maybe not a guide, but hopefully gives you some things to think about / research. www.ensignyooch.wordpress.com
