Has the bill of materials on the Eos and Astarte always deviated from the normal uniformity among t2 Tiers? Am I just noticing this now?

I cant find another t2 tier with this variance, all of the tiers use the same component bill.
(i.e. all t2 variants in a subset (tier 1 Heavy assault, Jump freighter, Heavy Interdictor, Black Ops, Marauder) use the exact same set of construction components)
Why are the Eos and Astarte non conformant to this standard? |

*shrug* I dunno.
I'd file a bug report with the images even if it has been that way for years, because it does seem odd. |

The Command ships which are currently based on what was once the tier 2 Battlecruiser are, in general, the (previously) field command ships. The Astarte however is the Gallente "Field Command" ship.
The groupings you have are therefore incorrect - if you group the Absolution, Astarte, Nighthawk and Sleipnir together and then the Claymore, Damnation, Eos and Vulture, you will notice less of a variation.
Of course the tiericide of the Command Ships should have addressed the material requirements of the former tiering but... |

My groupings are associated by tier, so your call on it being incorrect is bringing the wrong context. They removed the distinction between fleet command and field command ships, when they did the redesign and focused on weapon system specialization + bonus revamp, tier 2 incorporation.
you can read the odyssey devblog stating such, again here. http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/28-ships-later/
The bill of materials should be aligned. |

Well as there have never been tiers of command ships, only fleet / field, Jacob's grouping fits better both that and the current material requirements
the base hull was changed at the same time as the removal of distinction between fleet and field, and the Gallente didn't fit the pattern "previously fleet command CS changed hull" because that would result in a drone T2 Brutix and a blaster T2 Myrm, which is rather absurd |

the bill of materials should be aligned.

To put this in context,
this would be similar to say. . if the Ishtar used the same material bill as the "deimos, muninn, Eagle, Sacrilege" set. . if the Deimos used the same material bill as the "ishtar, vagabond, cerberus, zealot" set. |

Why bump? We can't do anything and the devs aren't likely to run across this here. You have filed a bug report? |
