I believe they did this a few weeks ago. I run into a lot less cherry-picked sites now and I've seen one or two cherry-picked sites despawn after I warped in that had several unopened cans remaining. Explorer-á |-á Ghost |

Was running a relic in nullsec and the maximum loot per can was around 500k isk. DAFAUQ? again i can see why so little, but how about adding just a little more loot and more spawns for relics and data sites? People come off work(like me) log on and do some explorations in null/low and cant find a single thing :(
This is a big, big problem with HS relic sites. I mean a huge elephant in the room kind of problem. They're just not worth the time and effort to get them done. I haven't done any data sites since the changes, so I don't know how that's been affected. My advice is thus: Save up for a T3, fit it with a cloak, scanning and interdiction nullifier subsystem, and take it out into Null. Safest way is via a null wormhole, but there's a few safer routes into it. Once you get deeper into null you'll start finding the less visited systems where the sites can be 50 million a pop. You can use the map to find which systems have the least number of jumps and head towards them, and avoid the more populated areas. |

This is wonderful news.
As far as the OP is concerned, I think the Relic sites are in a good place right now. This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine. |

Or just remove the ability to cargo scan them, that way you'll have to open them all to make sure you got everything.
I fully endorse this option. This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine. |

Yep, just want to reiterate one important point made earlier in the thread, please also reduce the physical size of items in the data loot. I'm my own NPC alt. |

Good idea, the current system is a "bit" broken. While someone can discuss the average amount of isk I can get from running a data site vs. a relic site there is one main reason why data sites suck at the moment: cargo space
I can run an almost unlimited amount of relics without being forced to find a station where I can sell it or to jump to HS to sell the items. Without problems I was able to transport loot worth 500 million and more with a small Helios. Data sites are different. The loot takes way too much space. Even a single decryptor worth 1-2 million eats 1m^3 and the BPCs and skill books are not even worth to collect them. I sell them as garbage, 10 of them each on Jita for 500k. Forget the rest.
So I run only data sites while on my way back to Highsec and have some room left in my Frig, but otherwise I ignore them. |
