Basicly this agent aids a trader in finding good trading routes.
Before you jump on me I don't want the agent to find trade routes.
You go to the agent and a LV 1 agent is able to field market reports from up to 1 region away.
So you say I would like a report from Consumer electronics the agent charges you X isk and gives you a list of all buy and sell orders for the current region and all adjacent regions.
A Lv 2 gives you a report for up to 2 regions away, Lv 3 up to 3 regions away, lv 4 ...
These agents work on the same corp standing as other agets.
thoughts and comments?

All you need is a Titan and ten freighters, and you'll be all set.

Going 4 regions away is possibly a good thing..
Say I am making a T2 widget I go to my agent and they give me a report on it. I see that no one is selling any in region XXX so yes 25jumps could be worth it in sales.
Also if I can make 300isk instead of 100isk per consumer electronics by hauling it 30 jumps through empire space that suddenly gets worth it with a freighter load (450k).
Remote region reports are usefully in finding trade routes/ planing sales strategy and other things.
Here is another one, you use your agent to find out how much ammo is available in a region you are going to invade. so you now have a idea how well the enemy can defend it's territory.

Yes, people will go 4 regions away to buy and sell something. 4 regions away is usually something like 20-25 jumps.
But making a toy for traders that works on standing mechanics, forces them to run missions that is, is no good.
There are 2 basic types of real traders; People who find fun and excitement in finding ruotes and making money and treat that as a form of pvp, as they compete with other traders, fight for markets and so on. And 0.0 dwellers alts in freighters, providing steady and safe source of ISK to balance getting poped in pvp. Probably not many of them will be happy to run missions, that are boring, bring tiny profit (for a trader), include no competition, require no thinking, and require combat skills that a specialised trade charactar may lack.

I am not saying the agents will give you trade route, just give you a report on the current market in other regions.
And yes real traders will use it, the pvp alts will not care. for the real traders it will let them figure the best rotes. now the best approach is to cover as large a area with sell orders, and stategicly placed buy orders. then you get a steady stream if isk flowing in as the market ticks away. and you only need to haul from a current stock to the lowest sell order to top them up.
