Fellow capsuleers, what's the fastest way to approach a fleet mate who is broadcasting for reps, if he coasted out of your lock range?
If you can lock him, radial menu on his locked ship works a charm for me. Same thing if he's watch-listed (radial menu works on watch-list). But there's no radial menu on the broadcast window.
Is there a right-click menu on the broadcast window with approach option (I don't think so, but I can't test it right now)?
Do you just look up the pilot in fleet chat and right-click there? (or on the overview? but that can get quite cluttered in larger engagements)
Keep in mind I have a lo-res screen (1366x768), screen real estate is scarce, so I have to always scroll through vertical lists with more than 15-20 entries.
Also, ANY other UI tips/tricks to be a super-quick and effective logibro would be much appreciated.

Overview Settings -> Misc -> Move entries with broadcasts to top So when he broadcast he will be at the top so you don't have to scroll to find him (if you have your friendly tab up) and you can do whatever option you prefer to approch (I prefer holding down "q" and clicking on him). Sounds great, thanks! I thought that only worked for enemy targets...

Depends on the logi ships you're flying. If your in a cap chain and the enemy had ewar, then you may have to say that you can't help him. If the chain breaks then the entire fleet is in trouble. |

This is why I prefer independent logi ships to cap chain ones in most situations. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=346564 - a proposal to overhaul the Logistics skill https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. www.minerbumping.com - ganking miners and causing chaos |

Fastest (and safest) way is to let him die and reship for being dumb enough to go too close. If it's a frigate, they can disengage at will against anything bigger than cruisers. |
