I totally hate to ask a question that apparently nobody else has, showing Im the only simpleton that doesn't get it on herself...at least I dont find a solution when I google it:
I want to change my avatar picture, just taking a new photo shot, from a different angle, without changing anything else----but for the life of mine I cant find the button to click in Eve that would allow me to get to the place where I could do that.
If you let me know, I wont protest if you add a little insult. ;) |

Depending on if you're using the Captains Quarters(CQ) or Ship hangar view theres 2 ways of doing it. In the CQ it can be done via the mirror in your room, stand in front of it and click on the mirror it'll take you into the character customisation screen.
With the hangar environment, click the icon I've highlighted in red, that will also take you into character customisation.
Hope this helps you out. "It's easy to speak for the silent majority. They rarely object to what you put into their mouths."-á - Abrazzar

You're welcome.
CQ is bad BTW, the hangar view is much more useful If you want to lose the CQ, hit escape and check the load station environment box in the graphics settings tab. "It's easy to speak for the silent majority. They rarely object to what you put into their mouths."-á - Abrazzar

That turns off everything, hanger view included. It'll just make the hanger into a static image with no ability to spin your ship. The Drake is a Lie |

Nope, you have it backwards leaving the CQ without it ticked turns it into a static image.
My load station environment box is ticked, and I have ship spinning.
