Two settings: Green: for PvP purposes, corp members are treated like people outside of corp. Attack would be lead to a Concorde destroying your ship, using logi would cause the user to go suspect.
Red: for PvP purposes, normal corp rules apply.
Could be set by CEO, Director, and special role set for just this purpose.

You've been in RvB too long or this is a nerf AWOXing thread.

Nope. Corps should not rely on outside forces to enforce their own internal security matters.
Might I suggest making it standard policy to stay in close proximity to each other so you can come to each other's rescue when an AWOXer strikes? Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective.

Because the sand is corrupted by bitter vet entitlement and the in corp exception is poor gameplay dating back to a very old system, which no longer needs to exist with Crimewatch 2.0. Or are you saying you need the crutch of corp awoxing because you aren't able to trick them into aggression in any other manner, or convince them to accompany you to low sec and you will 'scout' for them, or any other trick in the book. |

Being able to shoot corpmates is good. Remote repping missions you dont get concorded if you hit the wrong button, logis dont get concorded if they have the wrong drones in.
If you cant trust someone not to kill you, you shouldnt have them in your corp. |

Safety system stops you from suffering from both of those anyway. If you can't turn your safety off red, you deserve to be concorded for shooting a corp mate.
That's what I mean by it being an un-needed system. It's simply a crutch for poor PvPers. RvB have shown you don't need it to be able to have PvP games. |

I've never tried to AWOX. It was a comment from a philosophical stand point. The sand is supposed to be corrupt, it's part of the game. It's not corrupted by bitter vets, it's corrupted by the game's design. "PvE in EVE is a trap to turn you into PvP content, don't confuse it for actual gameplay." Lipbite |

On the one hand ... I kind of agree with the notion that rules should just be standardized across all applicable cases. In-corp, out-of-corp, whatever. It should all be gone over with one of those big steamrollers they use for road construction and made equally flat. Consistency, while not always fun, is at least easy to explain and leaves more time for other things.
On the other hand ... being able to blow corpmates out of the proverbial sky is very much a part of EVE and I can't think of an actual good reason to get rid of it that doesn't involve some puppy-eyed miners/missioners crying in their potato soup after their multi-billion-ISK Retriever/Navy Raven was struck down by the mighty hand of AWOX.
So ...
... nope, leave it as-is. |

OP, you are the one advocating the change, therefore the burden of proof is on you. Why should this change occur? Why is it unreasonable to ask corps to manage their own internal security? What improvement would this make to the game? |

Idk, posting flamebait, whether intentional or not, is still trolling, and it still needs locked.

it's not so much sand, as shards of glass and razor blades ... One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |
