Can't wait until they convert all L4's into randomized frigate, cruiser, or BS burner missions, effectively killing off the 2nd last decent income source for solo players in high sec. Why on earth would either of those happen? Neither of them makes any sense. Oh, and if L4s are the second (to?) last decent income source, which is the first one?
Not that we're going to get a response, but which decent income sources for solo players in high sec have been killed off in the past? "It's easy to speak for the silent majority. And now he's saying that only 2 of those are viable income sources for a solo player in high sec?

Risk = Reward is a blatant lie CCP and you know it.
Considering the very poor rotation for these missions the reward should be 20-30 mil which is what you get out of a solo long level 4 mission. Not this level 3 scale of reward. Not even worth the LPs |

Train gallente frig 5 and try again in 5 days Somebody else has done them in a couple of different fits for amarr assault frigs, so Ill get those next Easiest answer is going to be make a friend and one webs the other shoots, victory is had Or maybe a booster alt, that would have likely saved the poor daredevil. Oh well, just means i do some other l4s and buy a stratios to replace my loss. So I only make a 100 mil profit after these losses, so sad and suffering on me. But seriously they arent easy and while I cast greater scorn on Fozzie for not letting ewar work, I do think they will be easy once some minor events are done.

So CCP says. Has anyone actually gotten any faction loot offa these things yet, other than useless ammo? I did quite a few on Sisi (haven't had the motivation to grind reg level 4s for them on Tranq) as did several of my friends, and none of us have seen any faction loot. A couple corpies reported seeing faction ammo after 50+ kills, but that stuff is pretty much useless. Either the droprate is horribly low, it's borked, or we're really unlucky. |

While you jest.....
The truth is that the 'carebear crowd' is impossible to please. A glance at the Features and Ideas section thread about the Maraduer changes (in which CCP made them into kick ass PVE 'mini-Dreadnaughts' that actually see more use in pve and even a bit better use in pvp) is all the evidence one will ever need of this.
For years they said "npcs need better AI", CCP delivers "better AI". Result, "WAHHH mah drones, I can't just launch drones and forget about them anymore, CCP PUT IT BACK LIKE IT WAS WAHHHHHHHH".
For years they said "we need something to spice up game play". CCP delivers hacking mini game. Result "WAHHH, now I have to click stuff, WAHHHHH". don't get me wrong, I don't like the hacking mini game but then I wasn't complaining about exploration in the 1st place.
For years they wanted "a way to interact with planets". CCP adds PI. Result: "Wahhh, clickfest, Wahhhhh, POCO taxes" lol.
Wasting time trying to please "carebears" with new content is about as smart as trying to get pre-teen girls to all agree on which One Direction member they want to marry.

So pvp stuff gets added and changed every 6 months like clockwork and you comment like that for (excluding NPC AI changes) when PVE has not been changed in over 7 years. Most if not all PVE missions predate Tier 3 battleships like the Rokh and Abaddon. These missions are an insult to the whole player base, me, you everyone.
It's a **** poor rewarding frig vs frig artificial difficulty mock pvp mission. Because if CCP wanted to they could make a faction frig like that would be a hard match for a marauder level tank.
The problem is CCP aren't happy with their changes, because they worked on this put in hours and hours of work for something that has the presentation of a completely recycled mission and elements. I've seen better new missions in X: Rebirth. The dev videos have crumbled to a halt, last one looks like it was made in 45 mins. Big changes and risk taking have almost all but vanished. Like the WH changes, pointless.
Now with AT starting, all the time and effort go into "watching" people play the game you pay to play not actually playing it...? Explain that one to me. Why would anyone want to see 10 dudes do a clusterfu--? Remember the butterfly effect trailer? That's what got me playing, where's my AT 500 vs 500 battles with capitals? |
