This fit illustrates the problem with burner missions atm. These missions are impossible to do with 3/4th of AFs, all faction, and 5/6th of pirate frigates, assuming maxed out skills and faction mods. Yet, it's easy as pie with Daredevil due to web bonus and high blaster dps. Standings Improvement Service https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=19454 |

Deadspace rep with infinite cap is impossible to balance. They should have used buffer as a balancing factor instead.
Well to be fair they were expecting people to fleet up much of the time. |

I thought these missions were for 1v1, the LP and isk output of these missions combined with the bounty isn't worth it when trying to run multiple people for an EWAR immune NPC that has every advantage over a player |

Unfortunately that NPC has max skill stats using top of the line bling equipment, is basically EWAR immune and has unlimited amount of Cap and Munitions.
Now if the intention of this mission was to introduce PvE players to PvP then it definitely failed.

I think these burner missions are a good step in the right direction.
Most PvE makes you think ships are super easy to destroy. As such, going into PvP you get unpleasantly surprised at the resilience of player ships. Perhaps burner missions are purposely reversing that stereotype!

Definitely. They learn mission runners that the most efficient way to destroy solo enemy ship is to blob it with 2 or more accounts.

eh, it encourages gimmick fits even more than missions already did. honestly my lv4 battleships are closer to pvp fit than any anti-burner frig I EVER fit will be. They remind me of when I was a newb, and read the mission survival guide and changed my hardeners depending on who I was up against.... You can trust me, I have a monocole |

You're supposed to change your hardeners depending on the mission you get if it's PVE. If you're fitting omni tanks in missions where the NPCs don't deal omni, you're still being a newb. |

Ya, your spot on, we are all "supposed to" fly around with a gaping resist hole that screams gank me ! If the guy wants to omni tank and not be arsed to have to change out hardeners it's his business. No need to be calling him a noob .. You probably fly your Tengu with zero em resist too I bet... I may have to run a locator and shake the dust off my nado.. |

no bling? The ship is worth almost as much as 1/2 a battleship for just the hull. You can bling any assault frig to taste for the cost of a daredevil... post title is a misnomer...
