My char is just over 2 weeks old. Working towards t2 drones/tank/fitting then exploration skills.
I've been looking at fits however its hard to find up to date fits. Any feedback would be great.

Don't use a T1 (meta 0) tank. T2 Energized Membranes are not too heavy on training get those before you pvp, they are beyond worth it. A meta 0 tank is really really weak. Work on fitting skills to get that plate up to a 1600 as well, I would suggest using small neuts until you can fit the 1600 with medium neuts. If you cant use a T2 Damage Control then use a named one. If the Internal Force Field Array I is too much for you so early on use a Psudoelectron Containment Field I.
*Note that Internal Force Field Array I =/= Interior Force Field Array.*
Even though they appear in the same market group and look to have the same name at a glance, they are not remotely similar, one is basically a scam purchase the other is good. Look for the I on the end.
Don't use Lead charges on blasters either and faction your ammo. Blasters with navy anti-matter may only shoot as far as you can spit but at least they hit hard. Using lead takes away your bite and lets you spit with the wind at your back. I would probably suggest using faction drones as well, unless they are stupid expensive. Just a few things.
If I was you I would downgrade a medium neut to a small one and then upgrade the plate to 1600mm. It gives you a nice tank. And swap the explosive membrane to another EANM and then use a rig to plug the explosive hole.
For the exploration one you can bring a mobile depot and use it to refit. So you dont have to constantly carry 2 analyzers. The mids can then be used to cap rechargers to improve your cap stability or drone navigation computers to make your drones chase down the target faster. I would probably pick an AB over mwd for pve fits, unless you go to lowsec or nullsec.
Since you can predict the damage that the NPCs will use you can use specific hardeners against them. For example Kinetic and Thermic against guristas rats. You can look up on the internet what kind of damage they do. Likewise you can pick your drones to target their weak resist as well. One Man Crew - Collective solo pvp |

T2 tank and fitting is next on my skill plan so I'll up the tank to t2. Gives 34k ehp.
Faction drones are waaaay out of my price range (light is 15 mil) so t2 for now.
Thanks for the feedback. |

As long as you can't fit EANM II don't bother with meta version, an adaptive nano membrane II gives better resists and doesn't cost cpu and grid.
Also Damage control I is really garbage, put a meta on it, meta 2 and 3 are cheap anyway.
For pvp purposes i'd also suggest going with an active tank instead of plate, unless you have logi support, in which case you should have a 1600mm anyway. As a side not, i doubt with 2 weeks of training you have the skills to fly a vexor in pvp even just remotely effectively
T2 drones are just peachy. You really don't need to bother with faction ones, navy aren't anything to be talked about, and pirate cost absurd amount of money that can't be justified on a t1 cruiser tbh |
