I have noticed an issue for some time, I hoped it would have been fixed after all the updates happening recently. When doing mining missions the agent see the ore hold when you are taking the mission but can not see it when you are handing in the mission.
I don't know if this issue has been pointed out before, I hope CCP sorts it out in one of the up coming updates.

Probably a good idea to file a Bug Report about it.
In the meantime you'll just have to unload the Ore into the Station before completing mission with Agent.

Same thing happens when you have the required item for any mission type in a container, whether in cargo hold or station hanger. The agents haven't been reworked to check for other bay types after checking the cargo bay. Even the otherwise would-be nifty feature where they warn you if you don't have enough cargo space for said items when accepting a mission becomes just another annoying popup. |

I always just accepted this as normal game mechanics; if this is actually a bug, I welcome a patch to this.
The only similar thing I notice that actually IS a bug (but not bothersome to file a bug report on) is that it takes a good 5-10 seconds sometimes before the agent realizes all my ore is in my Item Hangar. I'll drop it and accept the mission very quickly, and it says I haven't fulfilled the requirements.... wait a few seconds.... Accept Mission -- complete! Just gotta be patient =) |

I think it's considered the captains responsibility to get goods moved onto and off of his ship. Same with distribution missions, isn't it? |

If you have the distribution mission goods in your cargo hold, you can hand in the mission. If you have the goods in a fleet hangar, you can not complete the mission.
It's exactly the same problem as faced by mining missions, and combat missions which require the return of specific items. Day 0 advice for new players: Day 0 Advice for New Players |

I also noticed this today... I guess CCP hasn't updated the missions to incorporate fleet hangers and ore holds. |
