I made a new friend recently, originally we were gonna date but decided we are better as friends. His name is Neil and I love this dude. He is the most adorkable person I have ever met. I wanted to share my joy with the community in hope that others may appreciate it.

I never imagined I would meet anybody online that actually turned out to be exactly who they said they were. I also have been given more reason to get out and do stuff rather than just sleep all day.

While I never quite understood your compulsive urge to share your private life with the Internet and yet would never dare to tell you how to live your life, I somehow found those pictures and his voice on the video all kinds of creepy.
Please forgive me when I ask, but since he looks rather young in some of the pictures- how old exactly is this new friend of yours? I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

22 hes very mousy I know.
I share so much in part because of my honest nature. I have little to no perception of the "normal" social barriers that our culture instills in us. I form intimate connections with other people very quickly and have a rather whimsical outlook in that regard.
Neil is great for me because he is the same way. He is affectionate and snugly with all his friends. I am a snugly person myself so this works out great.
I agree that he does have very neotenous features but I don't judge people on their appearance as much as I do on their behaviors. CSM 9 Candidate Philanthropist Polymath Savant Hero |

It was rather strange. Depending on the angle I either glow or shimmer. I think it's sub surface scattering combined with the high contrast. CSM 9 Candidate Philanthropist Polymath Savant Hero |

Xenuria I think this is one of the top three threads I've ever seen on EVE-O. the other two are by Alex Grison, and I can't decide which would be the best. The thing about your thread is the entertainment value is really really strong, but I think the appeal is limited to people who have an appreciation for what you do.
speaking of, have you written any fiction... better yet, science fiction... best: eve fiction?

Yes. I much rather provide good solid content for a niche audience than bend or conform to some broad stroke standard or entertainment. I still think I look dorky with my teeth. I can also clearly see how terrible my spine is.
I got the **** kicked out of me on a regular basis when I was younger and my spinal curvature paid for it. I got some lumbar issues so I look really strange standing up right or sitting.
I just think I look really goofy or derpy. CSM 9 Candidate Philanthropist Polymath Savant Hero |

To be honest, I would have never guessed your new friend and cuddle bunny was actually a guy. That is not a judgement, slight or whatever, just a verbalized observation.

I watched a very old homeless person get onto the subway train and then get off at the next stop. I felt so sad for him. Everybody just ignored him and pretended he didn't exist. The system has failed these people.

That's worth a lot overall, IMO.
As a smoker taking cig breaks on Manhattan streets, I end up meeting lots of homeless folk bumming smokes. Every one I've met has been completely unique regarding what's on their mind. Their particular rant or theme, whatever. But 100%-- literally 100% of those guys-- said "God bless" or gave some kind of benediction wish at the end of the little meeting.
