I was being nice. After seeing the paltry defences at the death camp we just dismantled I would be suprised if you were giving it away.

As indicated by SPCS Chairman Archbishop the station was preparing for relocation and thus most of the defenses had been taken offline and already shipped to the new location. The tower itself was really the only major loss of hardware and a new larger tower with more capacity had already been purchased and was in storage in safe Empire space. Needless to say Port Epiphany will be suitably armed to defend itself against all but the largest enemy fleets.
Fortunately the SPCS has recently received several large donations to help with future operational costs so the temporary gap in slave coverage caused by this wanton attack will be shortlived. SPCS operations will return to normal within a couple of months.
Rest assured terrorists of UshraKhan while you may have won a temporary victory over the SPCS people are not blind to the truth that you have only harmed Minmatar not helped them. The work of God shall be done.

SPCS will blather on about how they are doing their slaves a great service, but what they ignore in their self-righteousness is that all that is overshadowed by the sin of taking another sentient's freedom.
Charity is all well and good, but do not demand a lifetime of servitude as payment for it! --------------------------------------------------

It is only a shame i was not informed of said assault... i would have been more then willing to offer my help in taking down the accursed installation.
I have returned.

Congratulations to the Ushra'Khan on striking a formidable blow to the despicable practice of slavery. I'm sure we will hear more tales of your success in short order.

We take in more lost Minmatar then the U.K. has the capacity to free. They do not have the faculties to feed, clothe and educate their liberated tribesmen. In the end, these poor souls end up back on the streets starving, and when we return to liberate them from their pointless existence, they are grateful. A setback for the wise Archbishop for sure, but any externality is paid in labor by the slaves in the end . . . not by us. Any æfuture successÆ ultimately leads to the death of their own people. And while you may think the indentured state of our servants wrong; three meals a day, security and a fine education does a lot more for their material lives, furthermore this is not even accounting for the spiritual rebirth they go through in their path to understanding the ways of the world. Perhaps someday, the terrorists will accept defeat and realize that our purpose is higher and more true then theirs will ever be.

I cannot comment on the Ushra'Khan faculties, but considering the general situation among Minmatar people, it hardly matters even if this is true (which I doubt it is).
There are several pilot organizations who not only "feed, clothe an educate" but also offer official re-entry to the Republic (or entry to Gallente, or zero-security Matari regions, if that is the choice of the people in question) for refugees coming from the Amarr.
I have it from a very reliable source that while busy, these organizations are not working at the top of their capacity, but could indeed even extend the number of people they take in. Refugees from Port Redemption will have a place to go.
Hope this helps to dispel your distress over the welfare of these free people.

Edited by: AsheRaven on 31/07/2006 11:03:38 Re-education of slaves is currently a Blood Raven Clan policy. We encourage freedom amongst the strong, to be true unto themselves and all they can be. So bear this in mind, there is always space to accomodate.
There will be more visits to Redemption I am sure. ---------------------------------
