Hi,
When I started this game I as many others did a lot of empire mission running. And since I am Amarr and had an Amarr agent I got to shoot a whole lot of Sanshas. Now I live in 0.0 and I would like to do some missions again but I would like to try the Sanshas Nation missions. How ever my standings with sanshas nation now is -7.13 and my diplomacy lvl 4 brought it up to -4.39. Everybody knows that with diplomacy lvl 5 I won't get to -2.0. -2.0 is the minimum required to run a lvl 1 sansha agent. I also have skilled criminal connections but this skill doesn't have any effect on my standings towards the sanshas. In theory I should do missions for sansha allied factions but my blood raider and gurista standings are just as bad. Is there any other way to do something about my standings with the sansha nation?

Get a gang and shoot Amarr Navy faction ships and custom officials?
(Does this work?)

No that doesn't work.
Seems like you're pretty screwed with that bad standing, you could try to run missions for the ENEMIES of Shansa and then every time you get an important mission you accept it and then fail it. That could bring your faction rating with Shansa up again until a point were you can work for True Creations.

ive never run sansha missions or gone to sansha space but couldnt you take on the rats in sansha space? wouldnt this boost your standings with them ? I imagine killing a few rat bs spawns in sansha space would boost the faction standing with them. ----------------------------------------------- winmau industries now recruiting ,looking for combat pilots/miners, convo me or evemail me ingame for details |

The belt and gate rats in Stain are actually Sanshas so that would only make my standings worse.

You could fail a bunch of Amar important missions.

in 20 minutes that will be at lvl 3 but it doesn't have any effect on my standings towards sanshas. Which is weird since the normal connections skills does have effect on my standings toward concord.

Failing Amarr storyline missions, and/or shooting up Amarr Navy ships, are about your only options, if Diplomacy and/or Criminal Connections aren't helping. ________________________________________________

I've been blowing up angels for the last few months and it doesn't help me with my sansha standings. And I am skilling as fast as I can in social skills. Already got diplomacy 4 and criminal connections 3. Criminal connections 3 doesn't seem to have any effect at all.

I *think*, that criminal connections kicks in when you have a +ve standing with a pirate faction. (Ordinary "Connections" skill equivalent, in other words.)
Diplomacy is the one that's helping, but it's clearly not helping enough. Killing Amarr or deliberately failing Amarr storyline missions is your only option. Do you want Sansha standing enough to wreck your Amarr standing, in order to get it? ________________________________________________

Right.
1. getting Amarr storyline missions means more normal amarr missions which means more decrease of sansha standings.
2. Blowing up Amarr ships or Concord doesn't help. Trust me I've already tried it.
I really hope someone can come up with a solution. Simply that I cannot believe that there isn't a way to get those standings up again. It's simply ridiculous.

Not if you do courier missions. Boring, but it'll work. ________________________________________________

Find a corp with high sansha standing join it (for a fee or free) then you should get past the -2.0. Farm until you get back in tough with your sansha side.
May also do a 1 man corp and just pay someone wiht high sansha rank to help you.

I don't think that will work because that only works on npc corps not on player owned corps right?

I have the same problem Ark. And I want to know if this is accurate: Minmatar, enemies of Caldari and Amarr, friends to corps that are friendly with Blood Raiders, friends of Sansha; raising Minmatar/gallente faction will raise (at least a little bit) Sansha one or its just a likes/dislikes circle that goes no-where?

Increasing enemy faction standing for refusing a mission was classed as an exploit and deleted, so you only lose standing with the empire you are working for. I have not tested it but I think that the same applies for failing missions.

It don't work because you have a negative basic standing with the fation. So only diplomacy work. You need a basic positive standing to make the other skills work.

I understand where you are coming from. In fact I do missions for Sansha in Sansha space. And I would be ****ed if I couldn't, since ratting gets seriously monotonous.
Once I reach -5.0 with empire factions I won't be able to haul or afk in empire anymore. Think of it as saving you heartache if/when you do empire wars.

Yes, sharing the mission rewards also shares the standing increase. Atleast with the agent used. If you can get your friend to share the important, i do belive it will increase your standing with Sansha.
Can you run mission for an agent, even though you have bad standings with the faction the agent works for?

Yes provided your faction standing is higher than -2.0 with skills.
