If I happen along a pack that is somewhere other than where they're supposed to be, and this situation arises through no fault of my own, it'd really be more of an altruistic self-sacrifice. Learn to critical thinking. No, I'm pretty sure telling people not to kill the thing that is eating you for any reason and under any circumstances is worthy of a Darwin Award. Of course, we all know that altruistic attitude would disappear completely the moment fang actually pierced skin for the first time (if not before) so it's all pretty academic.
I was in the war (the real one... not some in-game war.... but I was in that, too). I'm pretty sure being eaten by a wolf is far preferable to teaching a brand-new 2LT how to land nav.
Also: if the wolf is already eating me, chances are, I'm going to die whether you kill the wolf, or not. If I'm still alive while this is happening, shoot ME instead of the wolf. He's got a decent meal... I, on the other hand, am far less happy.
Again.... critical thinking is your friend. Your jock-level stretch for any old insult isn't very becoming. That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right... |

"Fun" on the X-axis is the lie, amirite. "Effort" too. this thread is just a big dutch rudder of people who want to think EVE is leet. but it's not. how far do you think I'd get quadboxing, dodecaboxing LoL? if eve is fun, how come it's so popular? it's a good thing the loss is measured in real dollars, cuz tournament prizes sure as hell aren't. It's kind of like this game except that it is an online chat room for fantasy nerds whereas EVE is an online chat room for space nerds.

pretty sure EVE is one of the lowest APM games out there. guarantee it's the lowest in tidi. at least those other games are relevant and people know what you're talking about. saying i play eve is such a conversation non-starter, nowadays I just say I play battlefield. it's still more solid than "fun" and "effort." try plotting games including eve by APM and player base, see what you get. President of the Commissar Kate Fanclub | Rainfleet on Twitch | Twitter | Rainfleet mk.III | Imgur |

That gnome is an ******** anyway. Those were coyotes eating his sheep, not wolves. Not my fault he's too dumb to know the difference.
Also, the notion of the "man eater" only exists in bad novels and campfire stories. Real predators don't get "addicted" to human flesh after their first taste. That's just a myth, and it's been disproven, over and over and over through the observation and research of many talented and intelligent field biologists. There is simply no reason for that myth to persist other than most people being gullible and easily frightened. That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right... |

God smiles each time a gnome is raped to death
I wont say which God, but the world is a better place with less gnomes in it "Many have joined the battle, many have survived the tests and trials, but countless have fallen because they weren't the sharpest, the fastest thinking, the most devious, the most ruthless or most intelligent. -áLog in and Compete!"-á- CCP Falcon

Well my friend, after that load of self delusional tripe, I'd have to say you deserve far more than a simple Darwin Award.
Since you seem so fond of the term "critical thinking" you might stop to realize your example of a wolf eating a person is unlikely in the extreme to begin with... but as a "huge conservationist" you already knew that right?
For that matter, what does critical thinking tell you to pursue next, since wolves are being taken off the endangered species list that really doesn't leave a whole lot for you to justify your noble "self sacrificial" attitude with.
Unless of course you simply assign more value to an average animals life than you do your own, and have no consideration for how family or friends might feel about it...
...In which case you must need to resolve some serious inner conflict every time you start making choices while walking down the meat isle of your local supermarket.
Or is it simply the no longer endangered wolf that is worthy of needlessly sacrificing a human life for?
What does critical thinking actually tell us about your attitude, your professed love for a common animal superseding the value of human life (or is it only your own life?)
If it is only your life that has so little worth, what does critical thinking tell us about you then my friend?
Perhaps you should try to avoid "critical thinking" altogether, it doesn't lend itself well to your professed world view. If you like EVE Online and War Thunder content stop by my YouTube channel.-á

At what point was anything I said "delusional"? I'm curious to know if you even understand what that word means. Because you didn't use it in the right context, at all. That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right... |

To be fair, trolling in WoW is damn fun and requires a fair amount of effort compared to the usual gameplay offered.
