There seem to be a trend with people leaving wormholes & and doing less sleeper sites, due to patch.
I imagine small corps, that only had to scout 1 incoming hole pre-patch, now have to few scouts to put on the big increase of incoming holes. More risk, but same payout as before patch.
Larger corps, should be able to handle this still and have protection by numbers, so might not affect them as much.
The value of sleeper loot like melted nanoribbons, should rise eventually, if fewer people do the sites. This will clearly depend on ratio between small/large corps, my guess is that there are alot of <5 member corps living in WH's.

First post your sources, graphs and numbers than we can try draw conclusions. How did u determine that "a trend with people leaving wormholes" is actually happing? I can't find any relevant numbers except this infamous capital kill graph, which has very little to-do with actual WH "gold farming".
The fact is those WH farmers, did "perfect" farming WH space, so such a little change wont make them leave there gold mines. |

If you think this is correct, go and buy a few thousand units of Melted Nanoribbons.
If you do so and make ISK, consider giving some back to the community by donating to good causes, like the New Order.
Disgusted by CCP's stance of banning people for 'RL abuse' while tolerating out-of-game threats of violence made in the EVE client and forums.

I did check the WH forum and like noted the only numbers i found are those charts regarding capital kills in WH space over a rather short period of time. The chart is "problematic", since its just a glimpse in a very narrow time-frame and as other have already pointed out a chart over several months would be more interesting.
Than again how do u draw any conclusions from capital kills, to possible changes in how the WH is farmed, without any numbers on resources harvested?
We can probably just sit back and watch the supply numbers of WH stuff.

Some feedback on my inital predication, it was right, or someone is playing the market. I just cached out 4billion on melted nanoribbons, 13bill invested, 17 bill earned when sold today.

I think he isn't referring to hard facts and numbers but rather constant whining, moaning and announcements of unsubbing. Just like you would think noone was doing industry after crius.

The numbers in wormhole space is pretty static atm. It's expected that lower wormhole space will begin to see a large influx of players very soon. Interest is growing especially with recent announcements.
Bit of a lull but there has been a push within the wormhole community itself to ignite interest in wspace.

Since this seems to be a 'no facts/numbers' required thread, I'd assert that the general population of full-time wspace residents won't be changing much. Sure, adding null-space mini-profession sites to the lower (class 1-3) wormholes might give a slight bump to day trippers, but I don't think it will drive people to sleeper space in droves.
My advice as a long time Eve player is to not make market decisions based on the emotion rants of people affected by the latest patches/rebalances/changes. |
