Hi
I have been thinking of trying WH space and have done some trips there.
I always lived in high sec and did a bit o low sec roaming so some of this questions are probabblystuff taken for granted for null sec / wh pilots.
I didn't found any stations and little to no ships so I am guessing ppl keep their ships in POS, hanger ect (although I really don't know much about that stuff) if that is true assuming that I join a corp and get my stuff to the said POS, if they kick me out would I be able to have my stuff back ? And the same for freighter services once my stuff is loaded it is to do as the freighter pilot wishes right ?
I know trust is paramount in eve but if you are joining a corp out of the blue.... things can happen or not .)
Another question is related to finding home, lets says in WH we have a home system that leads to others etc, if for instance I would get back to high sec and the WH closed behind me how could I return home ? I tried several systems at different times and it all seems too random to control.
Thanks for the patience

1-yes if you get kicked out of Corp you probably won't get your stuff back 2-same as freighter pilot 3-you have to be scanning proficient to live in wspace and have an alt inside your system. This way if you get rolled out (unable to go back to your system) your alt can still scan a way in for you. |

Join an established wh corp. They will be able to teach you the ropes and they also have a reputation to loose, so they are unlikely to steal your stuff. There is a sticky in this subforum which I linked at the bottom with lots of well known entities there. At the same time the wh corp you join has to put a lot of trust in you, considering you could be a spy. You should not be surprised if you are asked to provide your full API, it's mandatory in virtually every corp that is serious about wormholes.

Generally speaking you don't need to take a huge number of ships int a WH so the loss from theft is fairly low (this is for new players, in lower level WHs)
All you should need is an Alt in a Epithal with a scanner (might as well have your scanning Alt do PI as well, if he is jut to let you back in ) , A PVE ship assuming thats your goal and a PVP ship + a spare (or multiple spares if your focus is PVP) and a scanning frig or refit for your T3 if you use one.
Keep all of your other stuff in a station and move out valuables on a semi regular basis as your POS could get **** caged at a moments notice. |

Generally assume that all you bring into the wormhole will be lost. If it gets killed doing it's purpose then all is well. |

Very first thing drilled in to my head when I was first introduced to wormhole life.
It's not "if" your ship will get blown up, it's "WHEN". Pretty much assume everything you bring in is now on a timer to get blown up. Being smart and taking proper precautions lengthens the timer.
Being greedy or lazy shortens the timer. A lot. |
