I need a bunch of frigate hulls in our lowsec staging system as part of a free ship program. I've done some calculations and it's way more cost effective to manufacturer those hulls in our staging station than to import them from Jita, because the minerals to produce a frigate take up significantly less space than a frigate does and jump freighter space is expensive.
However I have neither the skills trained, the time, the blueprints, or the desire to do this manufacturing myself.
Are there any corps or individuals who could provide industrial and logistic services to our lowsec base of operations in exchange for isk? |

Are you talking about T1 or T2 frigates? If T1, you could simply use and industrial ship to carry dozens at a time. And with a few scouts, would take basically no risk.

Good luck with this. There are two things you are going to have to manage in order to make this worthwhile for anyone:
1) Make it clear what you are willing to pay and how many frigs you are going to need per week or so. The profit someone makes out of it should be enough to cover their considerable risk of running an operation in lowsec and the fact they will be building T1 frigs instead of any of the hundreds of potentially more profitable items out there.
2) Convince anyone who is interested that you are not really out to blow up their jumpfreighter or whatever logistical solution they come up with. For the record there is absolutely nothing you can do to convince me personally that this is not the case. Even if you were my alt I would not trust you on this one. I mention this only so that you understand that this is a very significant hurdle that you will need to overcome.
Alternatively - you can train up the relevant skills. For what you are planning I am pretty sure that the training queue will be tiny. Heck you can probably get going with only industry level 1. Buy a few of the blueprints and you are good to go (you can always sell the blueprints after you are done with them). There seems to be very little justification not to do this other than lazyness, and most industrialists will not be very keen to work with a lazy partner.
I may have made some incorrect assumptions - for instance if you are looking at T2 frigs instead the training requirements will be much more significant and the whole thing will make a lot more sense. |
