Remember when you were all laughing at us for despising the changes?
Our turn. We will still crush you after these changes. No you won't, but keep telling yourself that. We need more f1 monkeys to keep subbed so we can continue farming, you and your kind. I love the tears, please Sov Block alliances, keep them coming. The purging of cancer from this game has begun, can't wait for the final phase. Until they stop us from using stargates we will still be able to deploy our subcap blob anywhere we want.
This is just benefiting large alliances.. Such as the 'freindly' Goons.
The solar system map is not designed for 5 light year jumps.. won't be able to get anywhere.
want more fights?.. sure.. it will make for super strong holds - large alliances will be untouchable.. except maybe the occasional kill when they move supplies around.
Small alliances will be stuck. just a target for large roaming cap fleets. sounds like fun for Goons...

A long time ago, Eve existed without capital and jump bridge at all, and 0.0 wars were bloodly and fun. I remember the time we had to escort 3 or 4 freighters during 20 jumps to secure our logistical routes. It was a lot of fights, small scale fights, and fun fights.
If powerblocs can't project their armada all around the null sec in 3 minutes, they will have to choose which regions they want to defend. Strategy and geography will again become important ! And it's fundamental to provide a strategical side to this game.
Today, if you have the biggest, ,you win. Tomorrow, to win, you will have to place your armada in the right place at the right time. You will have to make choice.
Thanks CCP to bring Eve back !

It's like they laughed at every single point you've desperately tried to make in this and other threads.
Yes, you may still pwn. You should, the biggest and most organized always will.
But instead of the stupid "morale killmails" you're RR nerf-cureall alleged, people can get REAL killmails bombing your ships that will no longer be hopping from tidi blobfest to tidi blobfest with nare a vulnerability a twixt their bridges.
Oh the fun that will be had when the first donut blue-bro can't get bailed out by his buddy. Or decides to stab his neighbor while their away playing 'Trying to Own all of Space' The renter that figures out his rent buys him zero safety.

As long you don't mess with jump freighters, If you do you cause an null sec alliances to move out of the game and quit. The amount of hauling needed to support a null-sec alliance is unreal. An before everyone gets all happy and smiley the cause of them leaving means now the space will be empty no one will want it as it unsupportable. |

It is about time to make it harder on the bigger coalitions ( out of game ), to stop the growth and enjoyment of smaller alliances. Now its time to see who works as a team, and has what it takes to watch and maintain their space. It also will make the coalitions, work on diplo more and think about what space they want to defend. So high five CCP and keep up the work, on making this game grow and not stagnate and scare new pilots away.

CCP i stress you listen to NULL CSMs. These changes will ruin NULL
Wars will become slow and undesirable. The inability to move ships to fight wars will lower the desire to engage entities. Making the huge power blocks invulnerable. No one with the power to engage and conquer them has the time/desire to take weeks to move enough assets to support the war effort.
If im not mistaken your making changes to add life to the game. In reality you will be doing the exact opposite. Listen to those who actually play the game! You will ruin null sec which is a majority of your player base. Think. Then fire whoever had this idea because he is dangerous to this game.
The only people who will benefit are care bears who want safety from hotdrops.
Null logistics (which are already eye gouging) will become near imposible.
I hope for this games sake this idea gets dumpstered.

A nerf to logistics will hinder the smaller alliances for sure. Those are the ones we want to thrive and set a foothold in null to make things more interesting for all. Please do not nerf jump freighters too much as they are pretty vital to everyone involved.
Also, I'm sure there will be some type of practical limit to how much jump fatigue you can accrue. Maybe a 24 hour maximum before the next jump? The existing jump skills can also be altered to lessen the amount of fatigue that is triggered, or the rate at which it is accrued, within a reasonable amount.
Heading in the right direction...just needs a bit of tweaking. Lots of people lately have complained about null sec. Even though CCP's first changes may not be perfect, at least they are acknowledging that there is an issue and they're doing something about it.
Keep your feedback productive people. If you're just whining and not offering any alternatives you are not helping the player base or CCP.
Looking forward to the changes. |

Look, the fact is if people know you are always flying with links they won't engage you. If they know you are always baiting they won't engage you. So you don't always fly with links and you are not always baiting and sometimes you win sometimes you lose. And people know that sometimes you really are alone and they will take chances on you. And everybody has fun. It's not bad to use tools at your disposal but if you will abuse them people won't play with you because you always win. And you did the same but on greater scale with power/sov/meta. You abused mechanics to the point where there's nobody left to play with you. And now you say: we broke it, you fix it. Yes I know, it's human nature to blob and seek least line of resistance to get to honeypot but sometimes journey is much more enjoyable than destination. So in that case you wont be at all upset if we bring back the tech moons we had a monopoly with and bring back insurance payouts to suicide ganking. After all, if mechanics break the game we should just tell people to not abuse them! Insurance payouts wouldn't matter as far better and cheaper gank ships are available now compared to then. As it is I don't need insurance to make billions in profits ganking. |

Only Combat ships should be affected. Jump freighters and Rouquals should be left out or given the role bonus to make this not so bad. But stop the Crazy reach of combat fleets flying half way across Eden and doing whatever they like.
Don't listen to the QQ's they will come back. and you are making this a better game. The QQ's just want instant gratification. Make us earn what we have. Doing this opens it for the smaller alliances and will keep more new players that are trying to get SOV. There is so much unused space that only pads the wallets of people that do nothing but suck you dry.
JF should have a Low slot MOD to increase their jump range. Only for Freighter OR Rorq. this could be explained buy the size of the item. In real world combat ships have limited space, where as a freighter is nothing but . Just a Idea. Being ex-military your logistics are not affected by anything other then the enemy. So as long as you are willing to risk your freighters then so be it, where as your combat units are limited by mass fuel and other such logistics. Like I said just a idea.
CCP keep up the good work and moving in the right direction.

Cool changes - they will revitalise the game.
Ppl get incentives to actually produce their stuff in null sex - and not live in high sec. So the renters will all die in logistic nightmares.
And this is just the beginning of changes.
This will break most of the afk-nullbear "allys". Their F1 player base is not capable of travelling in a combat enviroment.
I see oceans of nullbear tear coming in.
Caps will be able again to enter high sec in the near future - that means that ppl will run missions in caps in high sec sooner or later.
Low sec will have cap fleets sooner or later. L5 missions in low sec will become vialble again. So caps will be in demand by ppl that actually fly them.
More changes like this will bring in new players that actually play the game - the F1 players will start seeking for the biomass dump.

You honestly think that you will have the same turnout doing 30 jumps through star gates, rather than 2 Titan jumps? There are so many people who live in nullsec who wait for jabber pings, then warp to a titan and have content provided for them, its sickening. I think eve would be much better if a group of 20-40 guys could take a mediocre system in nullsec, and have constant skirmishes with neighbors. But this would require people to provide their own content, and manually fly their ships.

And by quality of provi bloc I am not talking about combat prowes, but as PLAYERS, people that know to not kill their own game. Do you ever blame the guy who decided to take the train this morning instead of driving through the heavy traffic? When you take the stairs and he takes the elevator to the top floor, do you believe he is at fault for not making needless sacrifices? How can you even begin to blame someone for using tools at their disposal when the whole point of the game is to gain an advantage over your opponents?
If after years taking the elevator he complains that he is fat and that its because of his job and that he cannot get any girls because he looks like a whale.. then YES. I blame HIM!
That is the improtant thing, people need to man up and admit the consequence of their decisions, that is what this game is about. That is LIFE. No goons are not winners, they are pathetic losers that destroyed their own game. They are exactly the guy that takes the elevator every day, get early to the job and get a position in evidence at the company, then notice a few years later that the guy that took the stairs, got out early, to go run and go to the gym is happier, has a beautiful wife and will live a better life.
Do not blame the elevator, blame your own lack of capability of thinking before choosing the easiest way.
We, in our alliance, are in a different scale sure. But we could make all other mercs blue as certain merc groups do, so we could have an easier way to pad our killboard in high sec. We did that? NO, we explicitly war dec every single merc group from time to time, we do not stop shoting other mercs even when they are at war against same target . We do not take the easiest way in our world.. know why? Because the easiest way is the way of the losers. As soon as you chose the easiest way every time you are making yourself the loser.
