This year started with a real feeling of hope for those of the Sebiestor bloodline. Though our tribe and faction had suffered indignity and fits of maddened rage, such as the tragic loss of Karin Midular, and the ensuing Battle of Colelie, the Republic was reorganizing itself along more familiar tribal lines, and we had a promising new Tribal Chief, in the person of Acassa Midular, a relative of Karin herself, to offset the headstrong nature of the Sanmatar Maleatu Shakor. Fast forward nine months. Children have been conceived and born in this new Tribal Republic of ours, and yet according to the Neocom, Karin Midular is alive and well, still fulfilling her duties as the Chief Executive Officer of the Sebiestor Tribe Corporation. How might we interpret this? Is she an Eternal Sun Queen, to rule over our hearts and minds for ever more? A Clone? A demonstration of the Minmatar's disdain for the entire Corporate system of New Eden? An Amarrian plot, blocking updates to Minmatar personnel logs? Acassa's Neocom profile itself was removed from all databases a few months after her promotion was announced. The people of my tribe still need closure from the horror and betrayal they felt at her death, so that they can remember and embrace the spirit of cooperation and sorority which she embodied when she was alive, as the militias in the TLF and FDU have recently began to. Please, if anyone in the upper echelons of the Republic, Concord or anyone else with the power to do so truly respect the memory of this great spiritual leader of my people, update her Biography and recognize Acassa's status. I'm not asking for bells and whistles, just a simple change to the files noting that she is deceased, as others such as Visera Yanala have received. |

To put it in short, CCP accidentally doomheimed the wrong character.
Karin Midular was assassinated a while back & therefor death. Later on Acassa Midular was selected as the new chieftain of the Tribe after a ling hiatus.
Now Acassa Midular has been Doomheimed (aka dead) but not Karin Midular. I can only guess someone made an error & switched the two.
Leaders of 'NPC corporations' do get updated when chanese occur, usually with a delay, but in this case the new leader has been doomheimed, by accident I presume instead of the old one. Classified Republic Security Services Document surfaced, contents unknown! -áBlood Raider Temple taken down! |

We didn't Doomheim the wrong character.
Swapping out the leader of an NPC corporation is a lot more involved than it might seem, and development have it on a backlog to take care of when they can.
Sadly, Karin midular is very much dead.

Cheers for the post! Glad to know CCP is aware of the issue. And my apologies for the wrongful assumption. Shows it pays to ask before assuming.
Looking at the delays when an NPC leader corporation gets updated, I guess it's a difficult process to use. Rescued slaves given the chance for a better life! -áClassified Republic Security Services Document surfaced, contents unknown! |

Even if it's just an NPC, one NPC has a different personality compared to the next, so changing leadership changes how ingame reality progresses, which affects the players in one way or the other
