Hi all
So I've come back to eve, I didn't play long before I left and have looked up a few things myself but would like to have someone verify what I know is correct thanks.
1) If I have a kill right on someone do I have to activate it or only people that I have make it available too ? I assume I don't.
2) If I have a kill right on someone will it make me a criminal / suspect if I attack them ? I think I will become suspect
3) Does warp blocker stop someone from using a warp gate / station? I think gate yes, station no.
4) If someone in high sec is suspect/criminal/below 0.5 status. Can I just attack or is there something you have to do before attacking I don't want concord blowing me up if I do something that I didn't completely understand.
5) If someone attacks a friend while I'm near can I help. Obviously wait till that person appears as a suspect or criminal by that time my friend would be dead if he is a criminal, high sec ofc.
Thank for any answers |

Thank for any answers 1 whoever you made it available to. 2 No. It starts a limited engagement timer between the person that activated the killright and the person it was activated against. 3 No... it only stops them from warping off... jumping a gate or docking is not warping. Acceration gates would not work either. 4 No... in order to be freely attack by anyone without COncord they have to be -5.0 or lower unless they are war targets or suspect. 5 Only if they go suspect or criminal can you freely engage. If you dont care about concord and sec drop then yes you can at any time.
You can always try the stuff too instead of asking. |

This is incorrect, it makes them suspect.

This is incorrect, it makes them suspect (anyone on-grid can attack them), you don't have a limited engagement with them until you attack them. You do not go suspect at any time. If they are suspect or criminal or -5.0 they can be attacked at any time. Basically if he shows on your overview as red or yellow he can be attacked. OP, If you are not planning any criminal acts yourself, just keep your safety on idiot proof (green) and you will be fine.
Funny i just tried it on my alt... activated a killright on myself and no suspect flag. Limited Engagement. Then to be sure I attacked with my third and well conord showed up. You activate the killright you get a limited engagement.

Funny, I do it all the time, and every time I go suspect. You must be mistaken. "PvE in EVE is a trap to turn you into PvP content, don't confuse it for actual gameplay." Lipbite |
