I haven't done any major PVE in a few months but I've decided to perhaps renew my interest in it. I'd like advice on which ship to start running L4s with. Currently I have a Rokh, which I bought because I was using Caldari turret ships before and was also a bit of a pansy so I liked the range possibilities. But L4s in a railgun Rokh are one of the reasons I quit missioning because it took hours to do single missions.
I've looked into blaster Rokh fits but the range on those seems a bit too short to tackle more distant foes. I'd like to stick with turrets since those skills are more universal and I've heard missiles aren't well loved in Incursions? So my attention has turned to the Gallente tree. From what I've heard the Megathron is more turrets than drones which I think I'd prefer, but if the Domi is so much better for mission running then I'm willing to go that route as well. Sentries sound like a whole other bundle of fun as well.
tl;dr version: Which is the bestship (ISK/hr to be precise) for running L4s: Rokh, Domi, or Mega? Can you provide example fits and min DPS to expect? (I can't fit T2 turrets yet) Other suggestions are welcome, just bearing in mind that I'd prefer a turret ship (i.e. not the Raven). |

I have seen three ships in incursion fleets: machariel, vindicator, nightmare. Of the three you fit blaster vindi scenario.
For l4. Have you used lmjd before? Life is short and dinner time is chancy Eat dessert first! |

None of those ships are extraordinary when it comes to ISK per hour but you saying it takes hours to complete a level 4 mission with a railgun Rokh makes me wonder if you lack some skills.
If I had to pick one of those it would be a MJD Dominix. Again it's not extraordinary at speed but is decent. Don't do missions in Caldari space as Guristas will drive you crazy with their missiles and jamming.
Edit: If you want to mission in Caldari space the Machariel is a good choice IMO. I would only recommend it if you have pretty good skills because it can be an expensive lossmail |

Yeah, my skills aren't exactly golden yet. I used a MJD with my railgun Rokh, though to be fair I stayed out of antimatter range usually. I do missions for SoE. I'll look into the Domi and start training up drone skills. |

Domi.
If you can't use sentries, a mega is /probably/ better than a rokh. |

T1 sentry drones were recently buffed so even with less than perfect skills they're pretty decent. A MJD Dominix will work with a EANM, DC and LAR if you avoid Guristas. Mid slots for three Omnidirectional tracking links, a sebo and MJD. |

OK, so I guess it's a train for drones, drone mods, and armor mods now. Thanks for the advice. |

Hyperion. It will tank better than the Mega, and still get decent dps.The issue you are going to face with blaster ships is range.
