Does it mean the faction towers will be "nerfed"? Something in back of my head tells me that. So the cubes will come on launch with 3 diff pre-defined fuel cost counters. For 3 diff sizes? But if i got faction large, it will consume the same as a regular?
If it will be as i fear, think the faction POSes will drop in price before or after patch? |

No faction towers will consume less fuel blocks per hour. They are not being nerfed.
Will help if you read dev blogs or search for other similar threads before starting a new one. |

slight nerf, as it's going from 15% to 10%.
But the price to run is dropping anyway. go read one of the threads on the dev blogs.
And before you misread them, no it won't cost 4 times as much for a large tower. the BP creates 40 blocks. a large tower eats 40. |

"Faction towers will have a 10% fuel use reduction for "tier 1" towers and a 20% fuel use reduction for "tier 2" towers (compared to their standard tower equivalents), taking them to 36/18/9 and 32/16/8 respectively for large/medium/small towers"
Taken from the latestdev blog about them - http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=3143 |

I seem to recall somewhere that the fuel block blueprints were going to be released before the patch so we can be ready... Is this the case? Anyone know when the print will be released?
Also, what arrays can the fuel blocks be build in? Component? Equipment??
Thanks... |

the BPOs will be released with Crucible on the 29th. We'll get ~2 weeks to make POS fuel blocks, then CCP will release another patch/update to make the switch.
IIRC the blocks can be made in ammo and component arrays (and NPC stations, obviously) |

I hear the Devs often write some sort of article where they discuss upcoming changes. |

Do POS's now *require* the fuel pellets or can they still be fueled the old way by placing the needed materials in the control tower?

PoS's don't require the cubes yet. The cube BPO's havn't been released as of yet anyways. There will be a dev blog giving us a decent warning when the swap over will occure.
When you see this warning fill up half current fuel and half cubes just incase soemthing goes wrong the PoS has SOME fuel to draw on. Once the swap over is complete, use the remaining old fuel ot make new cubes, or sell it on the market or jet can it, it serves no further use as a direct PoS fuel after that, just a material to make the new fuel. |

I'm just made few countings and the pos runing prices will go realy up.
Right now a small pos weekly cost is about 37 mill but with fuel cubes it will be around 100 mill. It depends on PI prices too but it will change many things in eve. Ore/gas/salvage/etc prices changes and that will make a huge wave in the economical system.
The next few weeks will give interesting things. |

Yah i did same math when i logged in after patch, I went to pick up around 295 robotics. And noticed i had to pay 3,4mil bloody isk to get it to the CO.
Bizzar taxing, and i had planets in a 0.2 system.
So i tore down my Large shadow and small gall wich i had on a haf / cad moons. Just dident feel like it was worth having those moons + my 6+4 planets on main and alt.
So now i'm gonna sit and wait, see what happens... |
