Just a quickie regarding pile resolution and scrapheap bonii on cards.
Don't have the cards here, and I am assuming as to a specific card types existence as I do not have all cards memorized yet. :)
War Tattoos gives bonus for each War Tattoo in scrapheap.
Lets say we play WT - then a card that sends it to scrapheap(if it exists) - and then WT again. All on the same pile.
The rules say: "If an effect removes (destroys) another effect lower in the pile, then that effect is immediately removed and will not be resolved."
So I am inclined to think that the first played WT will be in the scrapheap as the last played WT is executed - and it therefore gets the bonus for it?
Or will the execution of the pile mean that the first WT is not on the scrapheap as the last played WT is executed first?

Edited by: Ishana on 07/08/2006 12:21:13 I would say you're right and the first WT goes to the scrapheap and you get a bonus for the second one. _________________________________________________________

You play: WT (Pile: WT) Oppenent plays counter card (Pile: WT,counter card) You oppenent dont play a card targeting either of the cards on pile. (Pile: WT,counter card) You do dont play a card targeting either of the cards on pile. (Pile: WT,counter card)
The pile now resolves as nothing further is played on it. (Your new WT dont come in here as it dont target any of those two cards.)
As the pile resolves the counter card sends your WT to the srapheap.
Now you play: WT (Pile: WT) You oppenent does nothing. (Pile: WT) You do nothing. (Pile: WT)
Pile resoleves with one extra target as bonus as you have one WT i scrapheap.
This is all explained op page 26 The 'Pile' in the rulebook.

Yeah, well, the distinction that you make, that it is two different piles - which makes sense - is not "all explained" on page 26, the page that I was quoting from too. That explanation does not make a distinction between cards that target cards on the pile or not.

Well ive read the whole thing again, an my expample is actually a bit off, as the counter card actually removes the first WT imidiately. So even if you continue the stack right away the first WT will be on the scrapheap as the stack resolves.
