So what happens to highsec that needs these products, they just get it from somewhere and are fine? Maybe from lowsec ice miners I guess... Exactly, meaning that nullsec ice won't be providing the ice products that CCP said they would when they changed ice belts in the first place. Thanks for reinforcing that. |

1. Caps are in another corp for awox protection and anonymity, if you look harder youll notice fighter assist mails with my thanny on them as well, except those aay be before i api verified so i dunno if all of them are there 2. Sorry i didnt realize it was a requirement i topple an entire null empire myself 5. Your board is even worse, and wait killboards matter? 6. It's true I haven't spent a long time in 0.0 but I'm pretty sure while I was there I saw an asteroid. If only we could get CCP to provide some sort of device for extracting minerals from those asteroids (perhaps some kind of modified rocket launcher). If they also gave us a way to metamorphosize (yes - it is a real word) minerals into other things then someone could con an indy player out into null to build a giant bucket for all the tears.
And no. The time you spent reading this is mine now and you cant have it back.
It's not just harder, it's 24x harder in the worst case. That's what we're pissed about - the cackling-insane level of the nerf, not that there is a nerf.
My point was more that instead of spending 24x more time hauling the same stuff. Haul less stuff, make the hauling for essentials and use local indy for more things.
I think you'll also find that as an indirect consequence fringe trade hubs will appear so that individual people don't have to go so far. People can pay a slightly higher price but will only have to go half as far. If they're a scrooge they can do the full trip but it'll take much longer.
Ultimately it makes very little difference - You could always make a run then do something else. If you don't like doing something else - I.e. you enjoy spending all day flying a JF around (which is fine) then you still get to fly a JF around all day you just don't move as much stuff. This will also not result in much of a financial hit to you as people will just end up charging 24x more for the service (give or take).
You get the same amount of ISK for the same amount of time in space. You enjoy flying a JF around which you still get to do. You just move less stuff.

And i think CCP did account for the damage this would cause, especially since they spoke to the entire CSM about it, Who we elected by the way. And they knew it would be a rough ride to fixing it and they would lose people on the way
They call it the blue doughnut for a reason. PL, CFC, N3 own what, 98% of it, they all have treaties with each other. A major part of the game is locked down into what, R E N T A L. Yea, that's a real game isn't it. If any of you have a problem with the changes, talk to N3, PL, and CFC. They are the ones that caused this. 90% of the complaints are about the changes interrupting their sheep activities, routines. To bad. And renters, yea, that's epic gaming there.
That's the problem with a good sandbox - it ends up too much like RL.
If CCP does actually figure out a simple, workable way to prevent 90% of land/wealth ending up with 10% of the people then every country in the world would be very keen to see how it was done :)

CCP needs to unlock moon mining in hi sec but lower the production rate and increase the mined material the lower true sec you go, same as PI. These changes will destroy any chance of T2 manufacturing in hisec and we can't be dictated by lesser supply from null sec. Lady Areola Fappington: -áSolo PVP isn't dead!-á You just need to make sure you have your booster, remote rep, cyno, and emergency Falcon alts logged in and ready before you do any solo PVPing. |

Just as i halfway through jump calibration 5... Thanks for wasting my time again CCP.
Time penalty based fatigue is bad game design in my opinion. If the issue is force projection then simply limit projection without making jumpdrives a pointless mechanic.
Leave the base jump range the way it is but after a jump, reduce the max jump range. That would limit projection but wouldn't make jumpdrives pointless or force people to log off due to unreasonable fatigue. +1 |

Ever heard of working in a group, fleeting up? Ever heard of scouts? Ever heard of intel channels? Ever heard of asking on TS about the situation on said routes? These days you can even warp pimp your cap/supercap to attain higher warp speeds and mobile depots allow that for anyone not just carriers. If you rig your ship accordingly or use implanted clones or both you will warp even faster.
Honestly most crybabies shedding tears hear seem to have no clue about the basic principles that used to be common sense in null some time ago.
What this thread shows, what these 385 pages show is the profound lack of understanding of game mechanics of a shockingly large number of null sec inhabitants. |

Oh dear, So many tears from the mayor powerblocks.
" It's killing the t2 market! No more super hotdrops! logistics are bad! "
I think you guys need to learn the Provi way. Providence has always been into subcaps and lower, they have the best nullsec market and there are enough fights for everyone to entertain.
So why can't the mayor powerblocks not adept? It's not that hard. All you have to do is to build your own stuff, have local central markets that will have the goods that are needed. Use wormholes (which is a great way to find good fights) or roams to get your kills. Have a good intell network to do your logistics, and scout ahead.
So now people will have to work for their isk, which is good in my ears.
And pl, poor pl. Not able to do their terror super drops on lone supers, jf's and caps. Looks like judgement day has finally arrived. |

Null needs changed, Change is hard for most and there is no way to make everyone happy.
Jump fatigue is excellent Idea, in discussion with other pilots who use caps regularly, the numbers need to be tweaked.
main issue is affect on time in game. well ok believe it or not a lot of EvE players have real jobs. For me EVE is a hobby and it would really suck to log in, make a few jumps then log off for a few days.
Jump distance reduction. again a great idea, however the numbers should be looked at. taking JF, roquels, and carriers to 7.5 seems to be a much better compromise, with these changes however a rebalance on supers should be looked at to keep them viable for more than home defence.
Death clone, another great idea - can we look at Jump clone vat bays? maby make it possible to put a clone with implants in? or use it like a med bay in station where you can clone jump from\to it?
Change can be very good, please CCP and CSM keep up the good work. |
