Dunno whats wrong, patched Sisi and all of the sudden, the right side Station service window cant be moved or re-sized. In space its the same thing, all windows on right side are locked. Had the drone window on left side, was working fine, tried to put it on right side....it sadly snapped in position and become locked on right windows...well damn. Cleared cache, cleared settings and nothing helps.
The windows on left side are still movable or re-sizable at will.
Dont tell me its gonna be like this from now on? |

We should have a fix for it (may already be out on Sisi now), but it does worry me a little if clearing your settings didn't fix it. What do you mean by "cleared settings"? Did you just clear the window settings (and didn't restart the client) or did you clear all settings and restart the client? It would help a lot if you could try to log into Sisi now and check if the issue you were having has been fixed |

Ok, just tired new SiSi build, windows are back to movable status. About settings, i cleared my user settings by hand and Eve in-game options. Restarted after the each one, to make sure it is not my user info, guess it was on your end :) On another note, windows pinned or not, are anyway always re-sizable, bug i guess, since i dont see the point on pinning a window if i can drag/re-size by error anyway.
Now comes a new..well, not problem but an annoyance. Before i would just copy my user/settings folder from TQ to SiSi and i get my old user interface. Tried this again now, and i get window resolutions, and misc options like camera shake. But colors didn't import, and in-game windows positions are on default values. Is this UI...reset gonna happen when we update to Crucible? Or can we keep our current UI setup?
Found some other issue. Locked target icon position is way to close to selected item panel.
TQ
SiSI
On multiple modules active there is not enough space from the window border. Could it be restored to default TQ width value? |

Good catch about the spacing. Whats the BR number. Glad windows are back to normal almost. With this many changes having to reset windows should just be expected. |

OK, good too hear that you are not still having this problem. Thanks for testing it again The reason copying your TQ settings doesn't work is because we are clearing your window settings on startup (if you have older settings, so this is only done once). There were some changes made to make windows stop jumping around, and unfortunately that requires fresh window settings. The "lock window" option will be put back in shortly after the relase. See this thread.
I'll take a look at the target position when I get to work tomorrow ... but you know that you can move the targets, right? (sorry if that's a stupid question). |

I know i can move the target position, but that brings other problems. Currently on SiSi its not anchored once locked. From the icon to the anchor "cross-hair" TQ has almost 3 times the space, that spacing is the issue.
And as you can see this is the old UI setup, where your cross-hair was 50% out of the top border, once unlocked and moved you cant drag it back to old position so we lose that little bit of screen :)
But this is nitpicking, the main issue is width from the anchor location "cross-hair", even if i move the anchor for targets, when i lock a few more they somehow move the whole line to the right and i end up again with modules behind the window. Just play a little with it, its changing positions, and i somehow think that windows locking not working is screwing with this....width issue aside :) I could post a few more pics when i get back from work tomorrow to clarify if i dint explain it correctly. |

This would be very useful since we're getting all of our window positioning setups clobbered on Tuesday.
A feature like that would ease the transition somewhat, but I'm sure it's too late to be putting that into code that releases in < 2 days. Please support: export of settings in editable format

I appeared to have the same issue, windows are stuck and I cant seem to move them. I cleared my Cache which did not resolve the issue and another issue appeared, all new generated TXT is changing in to Russian.
I am at work now so I cant show any screen shots. |

The Russian text problems were reported as a bug over the weekend and noted as a defect.
The text was appearing in all sorts of places like the scanner results etc. |

One of the first items in the patch notes is this: "Window settings on Tranquility have been reset as part of the changes to UI and UI scaling. We are sorry for the inconvenience that this will cause to saved windows."
The space in the target list has indeed been reduced. I am not sure why, but I think it was done to save some space...I'll ask around and make sure this is not a bug |

Yeah, ok on the reset, taking SS of my windows to recreate them once more. :)
But shouldn't the default width for the target icon to anchor be wide enough to fit 3 rows of modules like it was on TQ all this time? Saving that little space for modules vs. UI rescaling seems pointless. As it is now its just inconvenient... |

There *should* be space for 3 rows of modules, but, in my ignorance, I trimmed down the spacing so you could more easily find the anchor (many people didn't even know it was there). I'll get on it right now and hopefully you guys won't be waiting too long for this annoyance to get resolved.
My apologies |

CCP Anthelios, thank you for the answer and future fix. Just make it like TQ :)
Oh, forgot to ask, is the anchor still gonna be adjusting to selected item panel? Like resizing the panel 2cm to the left moves the anchor left also? And making window 2cm shorter moves the anchor back? |

The anchor should behave exactly as it did before. I only changed the distance it was offset from the targets. I discovered that, because it was always under the selected item panel, very few people actually knew that it was there and what it was used for so I was trying to make it a bit more obvious. I'll try and find a good solution to keep it visible, but worst case it will be back to exactly how it was on TQ. |

That worst case could probably be the best solution..dont fix what isn't broken :) |
